For the last month, every time I sign in with correct user/ pw , I receive notification that YH needs to send a verification code to my rescue email. I enter my info again-without code-and am then signed in. Pain in the patookey.

Just started a few days ago. Have FF 45, YH toolbar with the Huff Post button on YH toolbar. Win 8.1. All add-ons and Extensions updated.

When I signed in to my YH account today, 4/13, I received a captcha message with a 'verification code". Is this new? Have not seen this before.

Every time I log on to Yh, I receive the half-page pop up entreating me to use yahoo for Chrome. I have no wish to do so. Yh has far too many gremlins as it is-How/ Can I opt out of having to "x: out of their ad ?

Today, 10/26, when I logged on, I discovered my email was different. So far, I had resisted switching because of all the problems I read about. So, have the YH gurus switched us involuntarily?

I have been switched to the basic version of mail. I am aware of the new browser settings, but I have IE 10-not 8. I am also one who received the spammer email from YH informing me that "my IE8" was no longer being supported. One would think the YH gurus would have (at the least) sent out messages warning users about these. I certainly received NO notice of such.

I have resisted clicking "accept" for the dreaded "Take Me to the New Yahoo".So far, I haven't noticed any horrendous problems with sending/receiving my email, although I cannot read my old My Yahoo page. All know THAT page(s) has the plea to go to the other side ( accept the new format) and is therefore unreadable. Ah well, I can and do get my news and gossip via other sites instead of having all in one. Bummer.Sigh.

I DO have issues with log-in-have had to change my PW 4 times in the past month and for some reason,YH doesn't keep me signed in nor does it remember my PW-no matter my internet and/or YH acct.settings. I DID notice that when I sign in, I have to click twice on "SIGN IN" for the system to let me in. Even then,with my correct PW,still states"PW not recognized try again",but I'm able to access my account.

From my short perusal of the Answers section today-regarding the Mail-it seems as if a lot of folks continue to experience difficulties in sending/receiving their mail, attachments, sign-in errors and the like. I would like to know if these problems were all the result of the changes in format that the new YH bosses instituted or have so many folks always had similar problems with their YH accounts? I would hate to take the candy from the new Y!H and then ,as so many,not be able to access my important (at least to me!) email.

What's the Community Consensus? Bugs still inherent in the new format? Thanks in advance to all/any.

How /can I locate my comments on one of the Shine forums ? Is this still available on the new format or has everything from a couple of years ago been deleted? I know YH has changed everything-think the "forums" are now designated as "blogs". I did not join any Groups nor specify anyone to "follow". Any help welcome-

In the last 2 weeks, I have been forced to change my password 3 times. For whatever obtuse ,stupid reason, YH seems not to recognize my current log in info. If I DO manage to log in, I must go through the whole deal 3-5 times before YH lets me in. And yes, I DO input the correct user ID and PW. This is getting truly annoying-along with all the other complaints. When I tried to "send a help message" to the YH gurus, and AFTER filling out THEIR forms countless times, STILL received the " Unable to Access, Please Check the URL to be certain it is Correct...". Finally gave up.THIS is where the YH HELP sends me. I am disgusted. Anyone else have similar problems logging in and/or receiving error messages from the online Help Menu?

Have read of so many who have had real issues with reading, sending, and receiving their mail-plus the problems with updating news, format, fonts, news, etc. Before I click on the "take me to the new Yahoo", (or migrate totally to Google ) I'd like to know if the problems so many others complained of have been fixed or are the process thereof. Any info ,specifics, and solutions-if any!-would be appreciated. Thanks to all who contributed to these forums-your comments truly helped me!

Must we now install Firefox in order to access our emails? Have seen where others have asked the same question, but no response yet. Thanks in advance for any help.

How do I export my Yahoo Bookmarks to my Google acct? I have IE10,MS Windows8. (Nothing is simple with Win8). I do not have Firefox OR Chrome.Any and all suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.

aTrying to find a work around to "opting in" to the so-called "new My Yahoo".The pop-up displays informs me that he sun is shining more brightly than ever, world peace has arrived-but if I choose to switch over this fantastic format, there is NO RETURN to my old smoggy, expletive-ridden existence on Yahoo. Have already experienced numerous problems with this grand (??) upgrade-do Yahoo users have any choices left? Is it possible to retain the OLD MY YAHOO (which I liked as is 'cause I CHOSE the apps!) or will I be forced to accept this new update? As of now, I am unable even to remove the pop-up extolling the virtues of this new Yahoo- whose features had to have been built by the kids in the sandbox who must have had their buckets and shovels stolen by the bigger kids. As with all Yahoo's previous "better ideas", this new makeover is fraught with dire problems-security breaches being the most worrisome. Is this the price we must pay for supposedly free services? Does the elusive and (probably) mythical Yahoo Customer CARE (??) team truly exist other than in the same cave as Bigfoot? IS there ANY hope?? Sigh.

Since Jan31, I cannot access My Yahoo page. Continue to have a pop-up stating that the "NEW MY YAHOO" offers more- I liked my preferences as they were. How to delete the pop-up, and can/if I opt out of the new "improved" format?

Receive the message "Yahoo wants me to upgrade my browser" every time I sign in. How do I disable this message? I do not wish to upgrade to the browsers Yahoo suggests. It is annoying to have to click through this EVERY time-and then click on the "no thanks".

How do I get to my entire mailbox without first clicking on Yahoo home-and then clicking the mail icon?

I have the hated Windows 8 with the gawd awful IE10. I refreshed toolbar bt it is still there.
