I pick up a girl at a sportsbar. Shes 31, cute, funny, seems intelligent. So I take her out to a sushi place I know. Shes kinda quiet on the ride to this place. I figure its the first date. No big deal. I can talk and get answers. No problem. We get there and the only spot open is parallel parking. A skill im not perfect at, plus I have a banged up hand. I do it, but the car is crooked/sticks out...

She feels this is the opportunity to make fun of me. Now, I took it. Im a guy and women feel we have no feelings. Whatever. Is this a red flag? Something that should point me away? I mean, the first date is the time to make good impressions right?

Girl I went out with last night said she was having a good time, after two hours at the bar got a call from her friends to meet her at a nearby club. She said she "wished she could stay but she promised to meet up w them".

1. Is this the "call me and make sure I have an excuse to leave" thing?

2. I didnt even really think about it until I was driving home. Should I care if she bailed? I mean, it was the 1st date. I want a girl who wants to be around me. Is that wrong? Am I overreacting?

Out on a date last nite. Nice girl. Pretty. We have a nice time and she leaves the bar. I go upstairs to go to the bathroom and there is my ex-girlfriend laughing w a bunch of friends. She hit me, cheated on me, lied about a ton of stuff. Been over for four months.

Why should I care she is out? She looked over at me and gave me the "fake smile". She works at a coffee shop, has no goal in life...why should I even care? Why do I have to be bothered by this? Dont tell me I still have feelings. Because the only feelings I have are embarrassment and anger I dated her.

I have a patch by the side of my walkway that catches sun most of the day. The Coleus that I have in a pot has been there for 6 mos. I want to plant it in the ground in that area. If it does well, fill up the whole walkway with Coleus. Is this a good time to plant? Give some directions. Depth of hole, away from sidewalk by how much?.
