I have inhereted 2 children (my boyfriends) they live with us full time. We have had custody of them for almost 2 years. Their mom has been in and out of jail for the last 4 years for meth use. When she sees them they are very upset and act out, for days after they see her. She calls and makes empty promise such as I will come pick you up this weekend and then she bails on her promise. The kids have had very little contact with her in the past 6 months and they seem to be thriving. She does not live in her own house she resides with her boyfriend 25 years older who still lives with his mom and is an alchololic. She keeps calling and wants to see the kids but the place she lives is not the best situation ect. What do you think that we should do?

I take intermitten FLMA leave for migrane headaches. My boss has been docking my monthly attendance bonus for the past 2 years. I also get comments about my attendance issues. They constantly say things like the next supervisor job is coming open and you should take care of your attendance issues. Is this right the way that they treat me and or legal? Also I was told people have no excuse to miss work FMLA or not they should be at work everyday.
