Viva La Pasta
Well, I'm sarcastic, talkative, big-mouthed, I have a hair-trigger temper [aka don't mess with me], and I'm EXTREMELY loyal to my friends and family. Remember that the next time you try to mess with one of my home girls or guys, m'kay? I'm random, crazy [insane's more like it], hyper, and [probably] ADD. If you like me, awesome, and if you don't, then that's good too. I really don't care what you think about me, if you're a hater then join the club, alright? If you've got something to say to me, say it to my face.
I'd like to know the name of this song, and artist...?
Okay, so the only thing I can remember about this song is that in the beginning, before the music starts, someone sings this:
"Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more"
It's an old song, probably from the 60s to the 80s, though I'm not exactly sure. No websites, please, just name and song title, and the lyrics if you can fin them.
Thanks in advance!
1 AnswerOther - Music1 decade agoQuestion for a Historical Fiction Essay!?
Okay....so I'm writing a historical fiction essay about the Revolutionary War, and I need some help.
Question: were coffeehouses established after the war, about 1776-ish and beyond? Because I have to write about what happens to my character after the war, too, and that's what I'd like for her to do; work in a coffeehouse. But, I need it to correspond to ACTUALY history, so if that's not correct, then I can't write it.
(this, by the way, is for the local DAR [Daughters of the American Revolution] chapter, if you were wondering or if you even care).
Thanks in advance, and please, DO NOT ANSWER JUST TO SAY "Oh, I dunno"!
5 AnswersHistory1 decade agoCan you help us think of a science project title?
Hi again!
Anyway, me and my friend are doing a science project, and we've got EVERYTHING down pat...
Except for a title.
It has to be in the form of a question (and needs to be catchy to grab the judges' attention!). Alliteration can be used, but it needs to MAKE SENSE.
Our science project is about how music affects your heart rate. [i.e. Do guitar solos speed up your heart rate?, do rap verses make your heart flutter, etc., etc.]
I'd REALLY appreciate it if y'all could help us out here. You've done great on all my other questions I've asked, so why not this one?
Thanks again!
5 AnswersOther - Science1 decade agoWhat's the name of this (somewhat) old song?
Okay, I know only parts of it.
The beginning starts out with no music, just someone saying:
"(I don't remember what this part is)
Hangman's coming down from the gallows
And I don't have very long"
Then the music starts. (It sounds kinda like rock; it plays on my local oldies station alot.) And:
"The jig is up
(something, something)
They've finally found me!
A rengade
Who had it made
Set free for a bounty"
Then, there's this part (I dunno where at in the song):
"Oh, Mama
I can feel you crying
You're so scared and
All alone
Hangman is coming down from the gallows
And I don't have very long"
I dunno who it's by, but it's a really good song. I'd LOVE to have the song title, and the rest of the lyrics, WITHOUT a link. Just give me the information I want, people, please. Thanks a bunch, Answers!
Lyrics1 decade agoI need lyrics & title for this rock song!?
Um, hi. This is the part I know for sure. It's the last part of the second verse.
"I am so high, I can hear heaven
I am so high, I can hear heaven
But heaven
But heaven
Don't hear me..."
And then, I think this is the chorus:
"And they say that a hero will save us
I'm not gonna stand here and wait
I'll hold on to the wings of an eagle
And watch as they all fly away"
So, um, yeah...help?
2 AnswersLyrics1 decade agoQuestions About Braces...?
Okay, I'm getting braces tomorrow[Thursday, March 22, 2007]. I'm really nervous, and don't really know what to expect because no one in my immediate family has had braces before.
Will it hurt? What can't I eat? What can I say to people if they pick on me? And...
I'M SCARED!
Anything you can contribute I will be greatly thankful for!

Okay, thses are the lyrics:
"Every step you take, every vow you break. Every smile you fake, every claim you stake, I'll be watching you."
Okay, that's all I know, other then it's old, like 60's or 70's, maybe. And don't tell me to Google it, or something. A URL, or the lyrics in your answer will be fine. Thanks!
