Does somebody know how the BIOS chip is powered? Is it only by the BIOS battery even when the notebook is running or will the notebook battery respectively the AC power supply take over the current supply.
The main point of my question is - what happens if the BIOS battery has completely run out of power - is it still possible to start the notebook?
