We are considering buying a bearded dragon as a pet, and we have done a bit of research on them, and I feel we are fully capable of taking care of such an animal for the most part. But, we tend to go away on long weekend trips a few times a year, or on vacation once or twice a year. We really do not know anyone that would be able to care for the pet when we are gone either. Is this a pet that can survive a few days alone with extra food and water? Or is this not the pet to have if we can't be home 365 days a year?

I am looking for a good salon in Phoenix to get highlights, looking to spend $100-$125. Preferably near the Paradise Valley Mall area or Scottsdale area. Is there one you could recommend?

Why?

I have a very smart 6 year old, that I spend a lot of time teaching myself. She has recently been having a lot of dificulties in writing lower case d's and b's, and I need to come up with a way to help it stick in her mind which is which when writing. She can easily identify them when she sees them, it's when she needs to write them that she gets confused. Any ideas? A limerick or rythm to help her remember which is which?

Is it easy enough to learn myself, from a book or tutorial, or is it something that I should take a class in? I am already a little computer savvy, I have studied graphic design.

Here's the basic scenario, because I know certain factors play into it. He is 36, I am soon to be 30. I was married once before, but have never had a wedding (the first marriage I eloped at a justice of the peace). We are financially stable, my fiance makes the money, not me, I am still barely making it. What is customary to expect from our parents as far as expenses for our wedding? Or are we considered too old to have parents help pay for the wedding.

Did you see her last night on the 20/20 Terri Irwin interview. Her face is so stretched, her cheeks puffed up and rounded, her lips are starting to look like The Joker, and she had so much Botox that nothing on her face moved except a tiny bit of her lower lip! Does she think that looks good? Does anyone? Why doesn't she get ridicule like Joan Rivers? Isn't she also setting absurd messages about what a real woman should look like and aging gracefully?

Is it proper to still give your boss a formal typed letter, or is it acceptable to e-mail a letter of resignation?

My six year old and I will be taking a flight in a few weeks. She has been on a plane once before, when she was one, and has no recollection of it. I am worried that she will freak out when it is time to get on the plane. What are some ways to prepare her for the flight, and make her at ease about flying.

How do I pack them and keep them safe (and alive) for a move that will likey take 3 days to drive from point A to point B?

My Bf and I want to have a destination wedding and would love to visit Asia. Where would be a great city to start looking into? I thought perhaps Hong Kong, but I would bet there are tons of great places I havn't even thought of yet. Any ideas? Experinces? Anyone have a destination wedding in Asia?

I was looking for real advice from real people about buying diamonds and engagement rings, not just the information published by the diamond sellers. Also, if anyone has had a good (or bad) experience with a diamond wholesaler I'd love to know about your expereince.

Is a passport required to return to the US by car? Or is that law changing next year?

I know I shouldn't do it, but I keep picking at the scab on my shoulder from laser tattoo removal. It's just too cool to pick off chunks of dead flaky skin. Why is that?

Obviously the actual moving expense, but what else is appropriate? Assistance in buying a house? House rental untill a house can be bought? Compensation for a spouse having to leave a job? What else should we try to get negotiated before we actually agree to go?
