Its about a girl, set in wartime so its 1940's. She meets and falls in love with a guy and when he is going over sea to fight she is frightened for him and he gives her a St Christopher medal to keep for him and he will come back to her.

He dies in the fighting and she is so upset that she goes into a church and cries at the feet of the statue of St Christopher and begs him for one more time with her man.

When she goes outside theres an army truck and the soldier jumps off it and she gets to kiss him one more time and returns the medal to his keeping... What is this film called?

I am having this procedure done on wednesday next, I have considerable weight to lose and wondered what it was like for anyone who has had it done? I will be having the open surgery as opposed to the keyhole method and wonder if anyone has had this particular type of surgery? Also what type of diet will I be on after surgery? What are the pitfalls of this procedure?
