  • why am I still getting spam emails despite blocked and filters?

I'm getting deluged with "Tradeshow" emails, dozens every day. I've had my Yahoo account for over a decade, and this problem just began a few weeks ago. My spam filters have clearly identified the word Tradeshow in the subject line, with capitals and no capitals, but they are still coming to my inbox.

  • How do I get my dog to stop scratching his sore?

My dog got a small nip from another dog that he was playing with. It was so small, just a little scratch, that I thought it would heal overnight. But he must've licked it all night long, because by morning it was an open wound about the size of a quarter. I did some research and it seem that it was too late to get it stitched up because it would've been full of germs, so we bought him a cone collar which he's been wearing ever since, and I put some antibiotic ointment on it. But it's been nearly 6 days now and I think he must be using his back paw to scratch it at night, because every morning it's raw and open again. I keep putting ointment on it, and it still doesn't seem infected, but any ideas on how I can get him to leave it alone?

  • Best tourist stuff to do in Ottawa, Ontario?

Going WITH MY PARENTS, so can't do the bar/music scene. Any other suggestions? Been to Parliament, Museum of Civilization and Museum of Aviation already. Hopefully someone knows of some other great venues we can check out (on a budget). Thanks!

  • Can Canadians get quickie wedding in Vegas?

Does anyone have info about whether it's legal for Canadians to get married in Las Vegas? Would we have to get a license or anything ahead of time?

In a few months we're going down for 2 nights and we thought it would be fun to get hitched in one of those cute/tacky little wedding chapels.

    Any info would be appreciated!

  • Cheapest way to ship boxes from North America to New Zealand?

We're moving from North America to New Zealand. We're not taking all that much with us, but we'll probably have about 4 or 5 large boxes (the tea-chest size). It doesn't matter if it takes several months to ship by sea, but I can't find any companies who will ship less than a container full. Does anyone have any experience with transatlantic shipping??

  • 2 home pregnancy kits were positive. Could other factors (ie: hormone imbalance) cause a false positive?

In the last few months I've had several blood tests showing that my hormones are out of balance. This week I started wondering if I might be pregnant and 2 home tests indicate that I am, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Does anyone know if false positives are common with home tests? Or if a hormone imbalance could be responsible for getting a positive result?

I WILL visit my doctor, but my appointment's not until next week, and in the meantime I can't wait to find out!!!
