My husband Myself and 2 children are currently homeless. The problem is we have one income to support 4 people. Almost everything we can afford is a 1 bedroom which is fine. We have no problem making that work until we can afford something bigger. However no one will rent a one bedroom apt or duplex to us. They say it's too small (anything is bigger then our mini van) or that it is against fire code which is BS as I have checked with the city as well as the property code. I have gone through EVERY apt in the city, craigslist, our local newspaper and a few other rental listing places. We have driven all over town, called every place we could find. We have even tried lying once we realized being honest wasn't doing anything for us. We even have assistance to pay deposit, the remainder of this months rent and next months rent in full and up front. I don't know what else to do. the temp here is over 100 degrees on an average day and after 10 minutes parked a vehicle heats up 30 degrees higher then the actual temp. Is there any place that will help with relocating families in need? I am originally from canada and have family and friends and options there. We have nothing and no one here. The people are cruel and heartless....obviously when it's perfectly fine for a family to fry to death in a van but a 1 bdr apt is just not big enough. I have even gone to the majors office about this. If you know of any places that help we would really apprecaite it.

My family and I will be homeless as of tuesday and I have no idea where to turn for help. We are not able to stay in a shelter as I do not have any ID. I am a canadian citizen and my husband is american as well as our 2 children. I am in the midst if filing for my ID however it won't be here in time. We are trying to move back to canada but don't have the funds to do it and no funds to stay here with either.....no friends or family to help. Is there anywhere at all that will help us with financial aid towards making our move to canada? If we can make it there we'll acctually be ok.....there is no way for us to keep our heads above water here and living in the car with 2 children I don't think is a great option.

Probably not a common question but......does anyone know what options someone might have if they are due to have a baby and have no one to watch thier child while giving birth? The hospital says that no one under 16 is allowed in the delivery room under any circumstances and There is are family or friends who would be able to watch the child. I'm assuming that there has to be some kind of an exception since there are plenty of single women who go into labour while travelling and are not near anyone who could watch thier other children as well.

How do I properly back up my computer programs? I'd like to back up most of the programs on my computer so that I can remove some of them. I'm using a flash drive instead of a disk which I doubt makes any difference but I've only ever save files never whole programs

My computer keeps crashing certain web pages or programs saying my system is low on virtual memory. When this happens it also says it is increasing the size of virtual memory and some programs may be affected until it finnishes. What exactly is happening when it does this? Is there a way to fix it so it won't do this anymore? My pc still has 70 or 75 % free space......so I'm not sure I really understand how it has low virtual memory.

If it makes any difference I am running windows xp on an hp computer. The pc is only running 128 ram (I think thats right) which I know is very low.....is that what is causing this?

Ok heres a new attempt at getting an answer....I know the process of doing a screenshot thats not the problem. The problem I am having is that the pasting isn't happening. I have tried to use paintshop pro as well as photoshop 7.0 both of which I know are capable of doing this. I am using windows xp so that is not the problem either. Since nothing happens when I try to paste into my paint programs I am wondering if the problem may be either my keyboard, or computer settings? If so how would I check this ?

I know that to take screen shot you press the "prt scr" button on the keyboard...however when I do this nothing happens. How do I find out why this does not work? Would it be my keyboard or a prob with my pc or pc settings?

Not sure what happened but my desktop background, start up bar, and all internet or program pages are stretched in width wider then my monitor screen. It's only showing half of everything.

I added a slideshow to my myspace the other day but instead of copy and pasting the code I went ahead and hit the add to my myspace automatically button. Now it shows a huge blank box with a broken link icon in the corner of it......the problem is when I went into my edit profile to delete the html code so it would go away there was no html code in the box. It's blank......is there anyway for me to remove it off of my page when my page doesn't seem to recognize that it is even there?

Why are some peoples 360 pages being deleted on them? Yahoo has given the option of setting blogs to adult content if they are of that nature yet many people who have adult blogs are still being reported an deleted regardless of thier settings. Even some people who have the most innocent of blogs are having problems with this. I haven't personally but I am just curious about this because i have a person on my list whom has a innocent and great blog but has had to restart about 8 times now and re find all her friends.
