I know a macbook air does not come with an hdmi port. I have looked at several converters that allow you to turn one of the ports to hdmi. Have you tried using these and how well do they work?

I'm in the market for a brand new home. We like a few houses and will probably go with the best deal. What advice do you have on negotiating a great deal for buying a brand new to be built home. We don't have a buyer agent.

I am considering buying a Macbook Pro but I also want to have Windows installed in it. Anyone else went that route? What was that experience like? I want to dual system but only one Operating System running at a time. I.E. I envision that when I turn the computer on, it asks me which OS to load and then that OS gets all the resources of the computer. If I want to switch the other installed OS, I have to shut down and then start and select the other OS.

I want to get an iPhone. Problem is, my current Verizon contract expires in January (about 2 months away) and if I break it, I have to pay at least $75. Given the history of Apple/AT&T coming out with a new phone every year and not giving their customers an easy upgrade before 2 years, I am wondering whether to wait for the next iPhone (3GS2 or whatever) if it is coming out out in June/July 2010 and then switch to AT&T or just switch now or switch in January.

I am looking at the answer to this question in a physics textbook and it says the direction is "downward." It also says the answer is "downward" when the ball has reached the top and falling back down. So is it downward regardless of whether the ball is moving up/down? When will the acceleration ever have a direction of "upward" or is this not possible unless there is no gravity?

I would like a phone that could:

1. Connect to internet from anywhere in the US with FULL internet browsing, like real websites you see on a computer, not some watered down version like you get with most phones.

2. Allow "Remote Desktop Connections" or connections to services like "gotomypc" so I can "work" remotely

3. Optional but cool ... A feature that would connect my phone to my laptop and I would see the phone's screen on my laptop monitor, so I can use keyboard/mouse functionality when I am "remotely" working.

I am thinking a blackberry would do this. Having never worked with a "smart phone", I need some guidance.

I bought a stock on Fri at $100. On Mon morning, I sold it at $110. Right before closing on Mon, the stock fell to $90 and I bought it again at that price and held on to it till Tues. There is no shorting or anything, simple buy then sell. Is this a day trade?

I am contemplating whether I should apply for a K-3 visa for my spouse in India. I am a US citizen. I want to know the following things about K-3 (as compared to what will happen with a CR-1/greencard):

From the day my wife enters the US:

1. Can she get a driver's license with K-3?

2. Does she get a Social Security Number when she arrives? If not, how can she get it?

3. Can my spouse be considered a resident of my state with K-3? She plans to study in the local community college and I was wondering if they would consider her a resident vs. out-of-state person.

I am trying to get a Tax registration number for a business and the online form is asking me whether I "file form 720." Who needs to file this form?

I am a US Citizen and I want to know how long it will take NVC (National Visa Center) to process the case of my wife after USCIS gets done with it. Does anyone have any idea?

I Do NOT want:

1. First Person Shooters (make me dizzy)

2. Games based on sports (NFL, NBA, NHL, NASCAR, WWE, etc.)

3. Sick Horror Genre games (Resident Evil style)

4. Too kiddie/girly games

5. Racing games (have too many already)

My most favorite console game of all time is Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Something with an engaging story, that doesn't drag on forever and ever, just right amount of challenge, violence and other things.

Hopefully, someone can suggest titles they've actually played and felt that it was a worthwhile game for whatever reason.

And when I read that a stock has "Div and Yield" of 2.6%, that means that if I held that stock for one year, I will earn 2.6% interest on my purchase price, correct?
