Do you think a team GB for footie in 2012 would encourage and help promote the development of youth squads?
I know that Gordon Smith has given assurances that it won't affect the status of the Scottish team in terms of qualification in international tournaments, but I'm not convinced. I'm also not convinced that selectors would give Scots U23's a fair crack at it, never mind the Welsh and NI U23's.
BUT, if it meant that millions of lottery etc money equally shared across the 4 Nations would be used for youth development would it be worth it? Bearing in mind it would also help in preparation for the 2014 Commonwealth games where Scotland play independantly.
What do you guys think about it, is it worth considering?
6 AnswersScottish Football1 decade agoLoads of folk rant and rave about bigotry.........?
.............and how one team has a bigger sectarian problem than the other. Seems to me that the Yahoo Scottish Football Section is one big sectarian hell hole, and whether or not some of it is in jest, some of it is just plain downright nasty. Nice to see that the bad element is doing their best to let scottish football down, spreading the filth whilst hiding behind their wee avatars. What's the point?
12 AnswersScottish Football1 decade agoDog with excessive thirst?
Me old dog is drinking excessively, and as a result peeing at the drop of a hat. I have had him to the vet - his urine revealed no abnormalities, and a full haematology test also revealed nothing. His sugar levels were fine, so not diabetes, and liver and kidney functions are perfect, so nothing there. The vet did say that the results were more typical of a dog half the age he is (he's 12). It was bad for about three weeks and all the tests were taken during this time, then it seemed to clear up, but it's started up again. Because he is so thirsty all the time, he takes every opportunity to drink - stealing your tea, drinking out of the toilet and puddles in the street, and he constantly wants out, because he's drinking so much, he's peeing all the time too, and we don't always make it out the door on time. It's stressing him out because he knows he's not supposed to pee in the house. Any thoughts from you guys would be appreciated - the vet reckons there's nothing wrong with him, but said if it persists, the next option is X-rays or MRI.
8 AnswersDogs1 decade agoPrima J - Rockstar - My 6yr old is driving me mad with it - who wrote/mixed it?
if you listen to the underlying music, particularly around the chorus, it reminds me of a track from long ago, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is... and ideas on the samples mixed, and who it might have been that did it???
