What effects other than a day loss do we face by crossing Int. date line from Japan to USA (anti CW)?
My friends say that planes cannot fly across the IDL from say Toga to Samoa or Tokyo to some where in Hawai (shortest path) but fly the other way around (clockwise) for the reasons they do not know.
