It's Complicated

I'm thinking about rooting my Android phone but I keep reading things like

"First, you need to unlock the bootloader on your Moto G. Unlocking the bootloader will Wipe and Delete everything on your device, so make sure you back up everything!"

It does not say exactly what "everything" is. Does that mean all my apps and personalizations or literally everything down to the OS? If you don't know, exactly, what "everything" is how can you back it all up? And how do you back things up? Load it on your computer?

Then it says "REMEMBER: You do not need to do this in order to root the device." Really!? If you don't need to unlock the bootloader and risk all the Wiping and Deleting, why would you do it that way?

I am only wanting to root my phone in order to uninstall some of the bloatware. Not planning any major changes. Is it worth going to the trouble to do this?

and takes clear photos. I've been looking at "ultra zoom" but most have complicated settings. Most "point and shoot" don't have much zoom. I want one that takes clear pics, has at least a 10x optical zoom as well as wide angle lens, is not complicated to operate and is affordable. Anybody know of one?

Something similar to Photobucket, but I need to be able to add fairly long descriptions to each photo. I have seen sites like "SmugMug" that looked promising, but they are not free and they sell the photos. Anybody have any suggestions?

My puppy, Stinker, looks like a long legged black and tan Dachshund. She has the same head shape, floppy ears, and temperament of a Dachshund.

My daughter got her from some people that live on a farm. The wife has the mother Min-Pin, and the husband has a Border Collie. Guess they figure that was the only male that could have done the deed.

I also thought the pups would be too big for the Min-Pin to give birth to.

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop that has Vista. I want to uninstall Vista, and install Windows XP. However, I have heard that a lot of times you lose your wireless connection when you do that.
