I can not find it in the owners manual. Called a couple parts stores and they can not find it. Help I hate driving long distances after my husband. I am 5 ft and he is 6 ft 1. So you can see why this is a problem.

It has been about a month or so and my 2002 windstar seemed to be running good. Not the case the past two days- yesterday loud belt noise and engine shuttered and belt squeked -other than that ran fine. Today I started it and it ran for about 8 blocks and dies and you loose engine and power steering but are able to start it right back up without problem. anyone have any ideas??

HI all. I have posted before about this same van. All other problems are fixed however not i am only getting luke warm air from the heater. The radiator is full and it has a new water pump. We are going to put a new thermostat on tomorrow. Anyone have any other ideas what it could be?

2002 ford zx2 won't start

I went out to start it this morning and it just clicks then the guages went all the way up and just fell. can anyone please tell me why? I am going crazy this is my baby. Her battery is 3 years old and it could be that but she normally starts right off no matter the weather. It was colder yesterday and she had not been started in a week and took right off

MY 2002 windstar is driving my crazy. After replacing the Idler pulley, the water pump and belt tensioner and putting on a new belt I still hear the "belt Noise". Any other ideas? Does this vechile have a replaceable water pump pulley or is it all one unit?

Because I can't remember if the water pump had a new one on it or if we had to use the old one.

Our windstar is making a belt noise or a squeak that sounds like it to me. My husband had changed the idler pulley, belt tension asbemly, water pump and the drive belt. This noises seems to be that same area. There is no check engine light but the noise is driving us crazy. We have already spent $300 trying to fix this problem and could use any ideas that you all have. I should mention that for the last 4 months it sometimes does not start we had the battery and alternator checked and they say they are ok. This van also uses a quart of oil every three weeks. However we cannot afford to buy a new one at this time so our only option is to fix this one. Please if you have any ideas let us know

I Changed the belt tension assembly and now the belt seems to be a 1/4 inch to small. Is there a special way that I have to do it? I have a repair manual but it only shows it for a 3.0 and it is a 3.8

How do I check to see if the noise I am hearing is the tensioner pulley? Would this cause the squealing noise I am hearing? Took tensioner pulley off and it makes a grind noise does that mean it is bad?

On the same vechile how do you check to see if the hub is bad?

Help Please. My 2002 ford windstar has a misfire in the 5th cylinder and has been using oil does anyone know why this would happen? Are the two linked? how much are we talking to fix both problems?

I got a new camcorder that is a sony it has firewire. MY laptop has firewire so I can capture them to that however my desktop has the dvd burner. Is there any way to do this other than adding a firewire pci to the desktop? I thought about a dvd recorder but don't know if this will work? help please I have video that i want on dvd! thank you in advance for your help
