I am a big supporter of our manned spaced flight programs. How do their positions differ? I haven't heard much about space exploration on the news from either candidate.

ADF's have been used for decades as navigational aids in aircraft, receiving signals from non-directional beacons. I am surprised that they are not using these in small robots for navigation (e.g., Roomba). My question is: How do ADF's work? (I know it involves something called a sense-loop antenna...) Also, is there a size limitation that makes them unsuitable for small robots?

I have a home network, a Belkin wireless provides DHCP which assigns an IP address to each computer. To access a computer's shared folder from another computer, I have to go to \\192.168.1.5\ for example. If the computer's name is Mickey, I want to access the computer using \\mickey\ instead. How can I do this, and where can I go for more information?

Why is protesting in the United States against foreign officials a crime, "willfully intimidating, coercing, threatening and harassing a foreign official"? Seems like if you don't want someone to protest out during a conference, you should have had better security, and if something like this happens you have the right to have your security escort the person away, but simply chanting slogans seems like freedom of speech to me.

I want to have a google search bar located in a small frame on my homepage (actually a sharepoint pageviewer web part), but the results of the code below return the results in the same small frame. When the user hits "search", I want the results to show up in a new page. How can I do that?

I am looking for a combination video card/TV capture card for my old PC, to use as a PVR, on an AGP slot, preferablly with TV output as well. I am thinking about the ATI AIW 800 XT/AGP. Are there any good alternatives?
I have an older dell (Dimensions 4500, 2.53GHZ). ATI recommends this card or the ATI AIW-2006AGP, but that card had incredibly bad ratings on Amazon.
The X800XT has questionable reviews on Amazon(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006BC57O/ref=sr...
Is there any alternatives, like NVIDIA or other companies?

I've been trying out this Yahoo Answers site, it's a pretty neat concept. What do you think? Any way Yahoo could make it better?
I think they should combine the answer postings with discussion forums so you can create a small discussion group under particular questions (for instance, if you ask for an opinion on your favorite movie, answers can debate it).
Also I think question askers should be able to somehow offer additional incentives for better quality answers.
Do you have any good ideas?
