  • Guy thinking about coloring my hair?

I am in college and have dirty blond hair. I hate being blond, and have always wanted to dye my hair a semi-dark brown (not black or anything). Is it alright for a guy to color his hair? If so, what about my eyebrows (which are fairly blond) and my eyes (blue)? Are either going to look strange with semi-dark brown hair? If so, do I color the eyebrows too? Any help?

  • College Folks: Would you grab a bite with a classmate?

If a classmate of yours, whom you have only spoken to a time or two in class, asked you as you were leaving class to go (right then) and grab a bite to eat, would you go? If so, why? If not, why not? Remember, it's just food and conversation. No one's asking for hands in marriage or anything.

  • How to talk to girl in class?

I'm in a (college) class with this girl. She seems super-interesting and she's very pretty (I think). I saw her in the student union building today. I am fairly sure she saw me too. I don't know her all that well. I've only known her since the class we share started in early January. I have spoken to her in class or just after a time or two, but I wouldn't call us friends. Anyway, when I saw her today, I wanted to walk over and say hello, but she seemed to be in a discussion with some other students. I didn't feel comfortable interrupting, and might have seemed like an *** if I had. I want to use the sighting as an excuse to talk to her tomorrow (in or after class). Which is better: mentioning it to her before class when she first comes in or waiting until after to mention it? My main concerns with waiting until after are 1) won't it seem odd I waited until after? 2) What if she mentions it to me in/before class (effectively beating me to the punch)? I would rather talk after, since before class things are rushed and brief. I am trying to make it as easy and seamless for both of us as I can. I merely want to try to grow a friendship here. Any advice?

  • How are you supposed to treat guests in your home?

I am staying with my father's family-by-marriage, only for the weekend. When I stay, they impose several very strange rules. One is no eating in the upstairs, for fear of mice. Although, the only room in the upstairs that is lived in, is the guest room where I stay. Their bedrooms are all downstairs and are eaten in regularly, so it's not a no-food-in-the-bedrooms thing. Also, I am not allowed to smoke (even outside), curse (even minimally - like damn or hell), or to question any of these regulations. I was raised that when people visit/stay with you, that you go out of your way to treat them well, even better than you would otherwise. I am not asking to smoke in the house, leave food all over the upstairs or to curse like a sailor, but it seems unfair to not allow me to eat in what amounts to my (temporary) bedroom, at least smoke outside, or let a s**t slip out here and there. Should they really be able to squelch who I am just because I am staying the weekend? Plus, I only have to stay because my father lives 3 hours away, and it's stupid to drive that far for a two-hour visit.

  • Why is everyone afraid to acknowledge Barack's true ethnicity?

Barack Obama is bi-racial. His late mother was WHITE, his father is Kenyan. He is not a full African-American. He is bi-racial. Legally, he can chose which he identifies with, and I am sure he identifies as black (African-American). But, why does everyone call him black? He will be our first bi-racial president. He will be our first non-100%-white president. He won't be our first 100% African-American president.

  • How difficult is it to learn how to play the harmonica?

How much time would it take? Expensive in any way? Do I need professional lessons or could I teach myself online or with a book? Any help is appreciated. Looking to learn quickly, but not overnight or anything. Maybe in a year or two.

  • Survey help needed. Need about 12 more responses.?

On a scale of 1-9, 1 being "not at all" and 9 being "completely," how interested/invloved are you or will you be in the 2008 Presidental Election? This involves everything from reading about the issues, watching debates, campaigning, contirbuting, voting in both primaries and the main election, and any other related activities. Please include not only your 1-9 answer, but also your age (or at least whether you are under or over 30). I have to split my sample, and I am doing so by age. Thanks for your help. It is much appreciated

The commercial air during Adult Swim. He is dressed like a cowboy. His funniest line is "fire this ***** up!"

  • Anybody watch "The Riches"? Do you like it? What do you like about it?

I have been watching it from the beginning. Eddie Izzard (Wayne/Doug) is great. He's funny, and clever. Minnie Driver (Dahlia/Cherien) is quite likeable too. Also, Shannon Marie Woodward (Di) is hot! The show is amazing. I love it.

  • Does anyone know which Family Guy this is from?

Peter has his man-boob sweat wiped by a Mexican-looking man, and is eating a strawberry as big as his hand. I think he's talking about luxury and mentions "strawberries so big you can eat them as handfruits." I can't find this quote or the episode. Help me!
