Does anyone know if I could paint over the old marine paint that's on it now with a good oil base paint? Do you think it would peel, or come off very easy if I put 3 or 4 coats on it?

I don't leave it in the water. I'm not looking for perfection, I've had the canoe for over 20 yrs and I'm looking for a quick and inexpensive fix. Marine paint cost to much for an old beat up canoe. Thanks for your answers in advance to everyone that answers.

Has anyone ever had one or own one now ?. I own Guild, Martin, Fender, Washburn, Ovation, and my best Alvarez. I saw Fullerton real cheap on Music123 on the closeout section. $99.00 for a $599.00 guitar. What's up with that ? I am just curious about them ,since I don't trust any reviews I've researched on them, because they are listed on the same websites trying to sell them. Any input from anyone. Do they play any good ? Why so cheap ? is it because they are a piece of crap guitar. Just curious, because I am an old and becoming a new school guitar enthusiest. Thanks for all your answers.

It looks like to me that most of the reviews are made up. They all start with simular sentence structure and words, no matter what product your checking out. Once in a while there is a random spelling error, but that's what I'd do to if I were making up the reviews too. When I look at the reviews, I perceive it to be one or to people writing them, based on paragraph character and simularities. Read a few of them and tell me what you think ?

I've been playing for 32 yrs. I also play bass, keyboard, harp, steele, bowed sultry, and drums. The kind of music I play is: Heavy metal, hard rock, grunge, blues, country, classical, folk, southern rock, funk, pop, disco, and bluegrass. I'd love to jam and record my styles to other cultures to see what they sound like. I have added some electric overdrive lead guitar to a few guys playing in Rocky Point Mexico. That was a hit. I'd like to someday hook up with some musicians from other countries that want to experiment. Maybe make a new style of music.
