  • iPhone 5 - silly question, but my husband can't figure out how to keep the WiFi on?

I have no issues getting it hooked up to the WiFi in our house, but it only stays on in the kitchen and living room. As soon as he hits the bedroom, it shuts off. There has to be a button to push to keep it on and we're just missing it.

  • 38 1/2 weeks pregnant....?

I am feeling very nauseated, jittery, and sweating profusely. I am wondering if anyone else felt like this at the end of their pregnancy and if so did you go into labor soon after? I am going to call the doctor shortly but thought I'd see if anyone had a same experience. I have been feeling like this for the past two days.

  • Those of you who got gestational diabetes during pregnancy...?

What did you have to do? Specifically regarding blood work to monitor your sugar levels. I'm reading some articles talking about doing it at home and others discussing frequent blood tests. I just found out today that I have gestational diabetes and now that I've cried my eyes out...I'm ready to here what I have to look forward to for the next (2) months.

My appointment is next Tuesday with the diabetes specialist and I'm trying to mentally prepare myself before going so I don't make a complete fool out of myself by breaking down and crying in his office.

Any help would be appreciated - thanks.

  • My daughter has had a stuffy/runny for nose for a few weeks.?

Her room is very dry and I have put a cool mist humidifier in their to try and help, but it's not working. She is now starting to get the post-nasal drip and trying to cough it up. I use the nose aspirator to try and get some of the "boogies" out and the nose saline spray, but we all know that only does so much. Does anyone have any "tricks" on how to get more out? She is only 3 1/2 months old so unfortunately I can't have her blow her nose for me. It seems to be affecting her eating as well - not that hungry.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

  • Good afternoon ladies. I just had my membranes stripped about 45 minutes ago?

I'm looking for women who have actually been through this. How long after you had your membranes stripped did you start to go into labor, or did you even go into labor on your own? Thanks for sharing.

    P.S. I am 40 weeks and 3 days today.

  • Good afternoon ladies.......I have a great hospital bag checklist from Parents.com but........?

The only thing they have listed to pack for the baby is her outfit? Does the hospital provide you with diapers and anything else she might need?

Does anyone have any other suggestions of things they thought were necessary to bring along for the baby. I do plan to breastfeed so I don't need bottles or formula. As always - thanks for your help!!!

  • Question regarding symptoms (or lack of).....?

I am 31 weeks pregnant. I keep reading that I should feel Braxton Hicks and my boobs should be leaking and I haven't gotten either. Are there other women out there that didn't have these symptoms around 31 weeks? My doctor even asked me last week if I was getting Braxton Hicks contractions yet and I told him no - he didn't seemed concerned.

When did you start getting these symptoms?

    Thank you!

  • Has anyone else had this symptom at 31 weeks?

My feet have been REALLY itchy. They swell on and off, but not much. But just in the last couple of weeks - they itch like crazy. I put lotion on them everyday so they're not dry. I don't understand. Is this normal or should I ask the doc about it next week during my visit? Thanks for the help.

  • Ok ladies, this one is a personal question.......

I have noticed for the past few weeks now that when I wake up in the morning my nipples are almost "swollen" and feel very hard and tends to last throughout the day. I am assuming this is normal due to milk building up...but I want to hear that someone else has had the same issue. I just want to make sure that I shouldn't be calling my doc.

As always - thanks for the help!

  • I am looking for stories of recovery after birth.....

I have read so many different books, magazines, etc. that I am just looking to hear actual women's stories. I plan to have a natural birth but I'm open to whatever may happen on that day. I was wondering how long it actually took you ladies to recover after giving birth. And by recover I mean - you felt like yourself again (well as close as you could get).

    1) How long before you could have sex comfortably again?

    2) How long before you felt like your vagina was "back to normal."

    3) How long did it take for you to loose the baby weight?

    4) Did you have a natural birth or did you use pain medication?

Thank you in advance for sharing your stories with me.

  • Can I get some opinions?

I don't understand why sooooo many women come on here asking other women if they could be pregnant as if we can tell. Whatever happened to just going to the store and buying a test? I don't understand? They come up with all these crazy symptoms - my feet are purple, I eat too much, whatever and wonder if they could be pregnant. JUST TAKE A TEST!!!

Some of the women (girls) say they didn't even have sex or even come close but wonder if they could be pregnant. Are you freakin serious? I mean really.

Am I the only one who feels this way? Please say I'm not the only one.

  • I am (7) weeks pregnant and have my first doctor's appointment on May 1st.?

I pretty much know what to expect, but I was wondering if the doctor always performs a sonogram on the first visit or if some women didn't get a songogram on their first doctor's visit. I'm just hoping that I do get one - for reassurance purposes I guess.
