  • Who agrees with this?

For every Syrian and Iranian made rocket Hezbollah launches at Israel (mind you, they are indiscriminately launced into civilian neighborhoods), Israel should drop one thousand pound bomb into Damascus and Tehran for supplying them and Beruit for allowing thugs to launch missiles from their territory. Fair is fair and enough is enough. Go get 'em Israel!!!

  • How do Bush bashers feel about this? Tax cuts for rich, bla bla bla?

Sun Jul 9, 11:18 AM ET

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The projected US budget deficit unexpectedly has shrunk by some 100 billion dollars, thanks to an increase in tax revenue from corporations and wealthy Americans.

The White House is on Tuesday to release figures showing the budget deficit to be about 100 billion dollars less than projected six months ago, the New York Times reported Sunday

An administration official contacted by AFP would not comment on the story Sunday.

Corporate tax receipts, as well as those from the affluent Americans, is expected to exceed last year's by some 250 billion dollars, the Times wrote.

The daily reported that tax revenues rose about twice as quickly as budget officials in President George W. Bush's administration had anticipated.

  • Has anyone heard of Project Echelon?

Democrats like to blame the President for somehow violating our privacy. During the cold war the U.S., England, Australia, and Canada developed a system capable of monitoring virtually ALL electronic communication. Can anyone see how the democrats are just taking advantage of an opportunity to Blame Bush for something else? The government has already been monitoring phone and e-mail conversations without a warrant for years. And courts have upheld the executive branch's right to do so under protecting national security.

And if g is out there, here is one of your CITES you love, and I picked one from a source you should feel you can trust...good ol' NPR. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?story...

  • What do the Bush haters offer as a real plan for dealing with terror?

I would really like to know what you would do. What would you do different? Why? What do you think would be the long term outcome of your ideas? Please be specific and explain your points. For example, don't just say "I'd catch Osama", how would you do that?

  • Why do people not hold al-Zarqawi responsible for hiding and operating amonst civilians when innocents?

are killed? Why do people say Americans are killing civilians intentionally? If I was fighting in Iraq and someone shot at me from a house...bye bye house. Does that mean I murdered any innocents in the house? How innocent are those who consort with or shelter criminals and terrorists?

  • Does it bother anyone else that not many people from either philosophy (conservative or liberal) really debate

based on issues or facts? I am neither republican or democrat. I lean a bit right. I agree more with republicans on economics and foriegn policy. I agree more with democrats on social issues like abortion and religion in government. But I like to think I see through the highly partisan motives of BOTH parties, and have a good understanding of most of what goes on in government (like influence peddling and the agenda of furthering one's political party). I think Bush is a good man, a moderate conservative and is doing what he thinks is right and in our people's best interest. His mistake in Iraq, I think, was underestimating the American people and oversimplifying the rasons to invade. I think Clinton was a brilliant man, a moderate Democrat and will go down as one of the best Democrat presidents of the modern era. He was not soft on defense or devisive. He was not the usual "tax and spend" democrat. What are your thoughts?
