  • This question is for anyone living in Las Vegas......?

Is the prices of housing going down or staying the same as last year? My husband and I are planning a move out there and we would like to know the best section to live in. We presently live in Pennsylvania, but we love Las Vegas. Also, another option we are thinking about.....any condos out there that are available for leasing? We would at least like to come out there for 5 months (during our winter).

  • Any hotels that are decent in Las Vegas that offer accommodations for a pet?

Anyone that lives in Las Vegas might know! We're thinking of going out there in March or April and want to take our little maltese with us. He's fine in a hotel room alone!! Please...no smart answers (leave him home-that's not even an option).....I'm seriously looking for a place.

  • Dog food question.....?

I have seen alot about different dog foods on here and most of the people seem to like Canidae. I want to know if it comes in just dry food and where can I find it (if it comes canned). I now feed my dog Caesar's wet, mixed with a dry food from the vet. Does anyone know about Caesar's?

  • Pig's Ears....Harmful to Humans?

I give my new puppy pig's ears to chew on because the lady at the pet store told me a new puppy, up to a year old, should not have rawhide. She told me pig's ears, animal hoofs, etc. are the best. My puppy loves to chew on them. Someone has now told me that they are very harmful to humans and can cause liver damage, even death. It's after the puppy chews on them, then you touch the part where they have chewed, it will affect you liver. Anyone else ever hear of this?

  • Computer problem.....need help!!!?

My computer has been acting really funny the last 2 days. Everything is sooooooooo slow and it never closes any of the windows. I understand I have to close them myself, but it won't let me. It just freezes up! I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what the problem could be. I tried rebooting, turning the computer off all together, and even unplugging it for awhile. I tried systems restore, and it's still the same. Also....I'd like to do "disk defrag". How do I do that?

  • Very strange.......?

I had to put my dog Buffy, to sleep a little over 2 weeks ago. She had bladder cancer and could no longer pee. I had her creamated and now have the ashes in a beautiful little urn in my bedroom. Every night since I've received the ashes back, there is a puddle of "water" in the middle of the kitchen floor. I swear, I think it is Buffy telling me that she is ok now....that she is peeing again. I know it sounds ridiculous, but there is literally no explanation as to where this puddle is coming from. The sink isn't leaking; neither is the fridge (my husband checked both). Has anyone every experienced anything like this after dealing with the loss of a pet? I'm serious about this, so no crazy answers please!

  • I asked for opionions yesterday....THE UPDATE!!?

Yesterday, I asked for opinions on putting my mom's dog to sleep. We got a second opinion from a vet and that vet told us Buffy(the dog) was in kidney failure. Today, I spoke with Buffy's original vet (who just happens to be my friend for many years). She requested the blood work from the other vet. She just called me, and told me the kidney count was elevated slightly. Buffy is NOT in kidney failure. I am taking her there tomorrow to see what else can be done. Buffy slept very content last night and is just like her old self today. This really isn't a question....just keeping you all undated. And thanks...so much for all your help and suggestions!

  • HELP!!! Need opinions about putting my mom's dog to sleep!!?

This has to the hardest decision in the world to make. Let me explain the problem: In March 2006, "Buffy" (the dog) was sick with diarrhea. I take Buffy for her walks all the time, since my mom is up in age. I noticed that when she would squat to urinate, it wouldn't come out. We took her to the vet. The vet kept her for 3 days to observe her and do tests. She said the dog was leaking urine, therefore her bladder was never full. She "thought" it was bladder cancer, but test results came back negative. At that time, the vet suggested putting Buffy to sleep. We didn't. We brought her home. We now got a second opinion....and that vet told us that Buffy's kidneys were failing. But....for the last couple of nights, Buffy has been whining all night. She still has diarrhea and my mom is forever cleaning her "behind". This mom called this morning and said that Buffy even urinated on the bed last night. The problem is....the dog is still eating and has lots of "spunk". Help!

  • Pomeranian/Pekinese mix!!?

I'm looking for pictures of this dog (pekinese/pomeranian) because a friend of mine recently adopted a dog from the shelter and that's what they claim it is. We seem to think it is a Tibetan Spaniel, or a cross between a pekinese and poodle.

  • What could be wrong?

My dog was having a hard time urinating. Also....diarrhea. I would take her for a walk, she would squat down and strain like crazy to pee. I took her to the vet, and she had numerous tests done. They even kept her in the hospital for 3 days, following x-rays. On the second day, the vet called and said they sent out cultures to check for cancer. She said that her and another vet did the test and saw cancer cells...claimed it was bladder cancer. Said it probably be best to put the dog to sleep, because she was dripping urine and may not even be able to pee at all soon. The next day she called up and said the tests came back negative! Needless to say, we were furious (after crying and trying to make a decision to put her to sleep the day before). We are going to another vet for another opinion, since the dog still has the same problems going on. Anyone know what this can be??? The dog is a Lhasa Apso, 12 years old, but still very spunky.....

  • Ayone here own a Tibetan Spaniel??

My friend recently adopted a dog from the animal shelter. At the time, they told her it was a pekapoo (part pekinese, part pomeranian). Since that, we've looked at dog shows and noticed that the Tibetan Spaniel looks identical to that dog. If you own one, could you let me know what it looks like, it's personality, etc.
