... and is letting windows manage the wireless connection... and the laptop has an intel wireless network card and the intel software is managing the wireless connection to the router.

They are both successfully connected to the same wireless router for browsing the internet but I want to wirelessly network them to each other so I can transfer files between them wirelessly.

I can't see either one device from the other though. Is it possible to wirelessly connect the two devices while their respective connections are being managed differently?? (by intel and windows?)

The laptop wireless connection is being managed by intel for a reason... because that's the only way I could get it to see my wireless router!

I recently had a car crash and dislocated (type 3) my AC Joint (Acromio-clavicular joint ), I've been told that surgery is an option to reapir the disfigurement; but will be my choice.

Has anyone had this injury and gone through the surgery.
