I'm pretty much at my wits end on this. My upstairs neighbors are loud at night and when my fiance and I are trying to sleep, they are constantly banging things around and walking loudly. The noise ordinance in my town requires less noise after 10PM. I get up every morning at 5:30AM and when they are keeping me up until midnight (as is the case last night) I'm trying to function on 5 1/2 hours sleep. To make matter worse, I have lupus and that makes the situation even harder because if I don't get adequate sleep I get really sick.

We've asked them several times to keep it down, and last week one of them said to just come upstairs and knock on the door when they were particularly loud. My fiance went upstairs twice on Wednesday evening to ask them to keep it down. On the second time, they threatened to call the police. We called the landlord to complain, but they have not gotten any quieter (hence my frustration).

We're only halfway into the lease, so moving isn't an option.

that the country would be pull together and be united? Or do you think that it would only exacerbate this bipartisan BS that seems to be the epitome of current state of the union?

And for anyone that wants to accuse me of being a terrorist, spare me. I've experienced the turmoil of 9/11 firsthand and I pray that anything of that scale never happens again on American soil.

and after living in Boston for many years the scenery has become common place to me. What touristy things have you brought guests to & you would recommend? I know the usual like Faneuil Hall, but I want some things that will leave a lasting impression.
