  • Thinking about buying a Continental?

I am shopping for a car and am considering a 1998-2002 Continental. I would appreciate any comments from owners of these cars....what's the good and bad about them? What gas mileage do they get? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

  • Looking for an old friend?

I am wondering what ever happened to a friend of mine from grade school. His name is John Wills and he grew up in Dayton OH but I believe he & his family may have moved out of state in his late teens. He had 2 sisters named Andrea and Melissa. If anyone knows of him I'd appreciate hearing from you....just wondering where & how he ended up. Thanks.

  • Australian shepherd & jack russell?

We have a 3 year old Jack Russell and are considering adding an Aussie mix puppy to the family. I don't know what other breed the Aussie is mixed with, looks like maybe Beagle? But I wonder if folks familiar with these breeds can tell me if the dogs would likely get along? Both are male and neutered. I'm wondering if there would be problems with territory since the JR has been the only dog in the house since our Alaskan Malamute passed away a year & a half ago. Any input from knowledgeable people would be appreciated.

  • Can electrical current travel through air to power an object?

Need some help for a science fair project. The idea is to run an electrical wire from a battery to an external object (lightbulb?) but have the electricity travel through the air rather than connecting the wire to the object. The question to be answered is how far the electricity can travel through the air to power the object.

My question is : is this even possible? And if so, what should the object be? Will a lightbulb work?

Please answer in layman's terms, my understanding of electricity is minimal at best. Thanks
