I asked out a girl from work and she said yes, but now I am not sure if she thought I meant to go as friends or a date... I have known the girl for a few months but have only really started to chat to her a couple of weeks ago. We get on really well and were talking about movies and the cinema - so I asked her if she would like to go and see the movie we were chatting about. She said "yes" then added "I do want to see that movie" now i don't know if she was saying yes because she was keen to see the movie and just go with me as a friend or knew I was asking her because I liked her and was thinking of a more romantic date. So does any one have any ideas how I can find out which one it is?

Hi guys, I have a friend who lives in Uzbekistan and she wants to travel to Turkey for a few days on holiday. However she has read about difficulties about any young (she is 24) girls travelling alone to Turkey from Uzbekistan as the border control are suspicious of girls coming to their country to become Prostitutes. Does any one have any experience about such a thing happening or any advice as to how she can avoid being turned away at the airport?

I am trying to create a questionnaire that indicates what sort of movies the people questioned would watch based on their answers. I have chosen ten movies that I feel cover most aspects of 'Hollywood' films. If you want to suggest other movies that would help do that your suggestions would be appreciated (preferable relatively modern well known movies). Oh if it isn't too much to ask could you give your gender and age :-) Thanks for your help!

Could someone explain to me why the dark side of the moon is cold. As I understand space is a vacuum and the only source of heat is transferred by radiation (no convection or conduction). So when the moon is facing the sun it heats up - but surely when it rotates away the rock of the moon would not lose it's heat as it is in a vacuum. I understand that it would slowly cool due to radiating its heat away but I would have thought not quick enough to become cold before rotating back into the sunlight.

Oh and a 2nd question on the same theme: If you woke up one day in intergalactic space (not very likely). How long would your body take to reach Absolute Zero (or whatever it is)? Are we talking hours, days, weeks, years? Again I understand the heat loss would be very slow due to the fact you are in a vacuum. I am writing a book and am doing a little research :-)

Oh and one final question (which is a bit below the belt) would a man experience an erection in a vaccum due to the lack of pressure outside the body? (Just thought it would be an amusing one-liner to use in my book)))

I have written a screenplay and sent about 30 query letters to agents in the UK and USA. It has been 2 months and so far I have only had 3 replies... I have kept the query short, given the title, a log line and a very very brief synopsis (about 10 lines). In the case of UK agents I have enclosed a Stamped Post card (I thought a post card would make it even easier for them to reply as they wouldn't even need to print any letters off). I have also put a line where I mention I have a degree from University in writing. However I am just not getting anything back at all.....any ideas?

I am thinking of writing a screenplay based around Robert Louis Stevenson's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Does any one know the copyright issues of doing this? As far as I know copyright only has a limited life span ie. there would be no problems me adapting a Shakespeare play. Can anyone confirm this?

I have just got a Sky as my new ISP and am using their Netgear Wireless Router. I am using my laptop - sometimes it connects fine and then I will lose connection. I try to reconnect but it tries to 'Acquire Network Address' then a it fails. I keep on trying to connect and often it will connect after a dozen attempts or so but sometimes it just refuses. I have a good signal from the router and am confused as to why it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't - is there some setting I need to change?

Hi guys, I bought and ipod Touch off my mate (who has upgraded himself to an Iphone) Anyway I have been able to reset all the settings, music and photos, (General>Reset) however when I plug my iPod into the USB and open Itunes it still comes up with the my Mate's name on the Ipod file...So is there a way I can go back to complete factory defult settings and then re-register using my own name? Hope someone can help :-)

I have uploaded my website using CuteFTP - however when I click on my web address all I see an advert for another site and Error 404. I am new to this so am sure I must have done something wrong.

I shall try to tell you what I have done:

1) I created my webpage in NVU as a Html document. - All the images are in the same folder

2) set up my Cuteftp. to the host ftp address

3)put in my user name and password for the site

4) connected to my subfolder on the website

5) uploaded the webpages and images

6) So now in the right hand column of my ftp program is a list of the html. webpages and images

If I type in the ftp. address into my internet browser I see the list of all my files and when I click on them they open. However when I click on the html. files the page opens, my advert banners are there but not my pics.(they are .gif where as my pics are jpeg)

I am sure I must be doing something wrong - could you help please? I have tried to contact the host but they haven't replied.

I am looking for the Anime series of Death Note on DVD. I have found websites like play.com have vol. 1 - have the other volumes been released in the UK? Also there is a live action version of the series - is this available? And since I am asking all these questions - where is the best place to buy Anime? I find that most highstreet stores and big dvd online shops charge a fortune.

I am currently employed in IT Sales company selling a fairly specialized product. Recently a rival company have offered me a job and a much better deal. As my current employers aren't the best to work for I would like to change companies - However my contract of employment says I can't work for a rival company for 6 months if I leave my current job. Are they legally allowed to do this?

I've being playing Oblivion for about 30 Hours and have reached level 17. But I feel I have hardly scratched the surface of the game, however when you level up it is saying things like I am getting old and stuff. And also the enemies I'm fighting are lots of big Deadra giving me the feeling what am I going to encounter when I've played the game for another 20 hours or so - if I'm already meeting and killing big *** demons surely when I get tougher the game will be far too easy. I've not being power gaming at all (I have actually given myself high luck and have focused on Mercentile and speach craft). I have done the first few main quests and maybe twenty or so generic dungeons and I am feeling like I'm going to be cruising the rest of the game as every dungeon now yields tons of magic items.

So I guess my question is: Is the game going to get harder after level 17 or will I just be wondering around easily slaughtering everything in my sight?

I've received the quest to kill the Rumare slaughterfish and headed north to Rumare Lake to get me some fish! So I jumped in and killed a few. Then I realised if i select this quest then the Fish would be indicated by a green arrow. So I swam to the Green arrow and there is no fishes there!! I used detect life spells and still there is nothing?! I've searched for ages and can't find any more (I have caught 6) Also is there a special way to descale them? Please help guys

I am looking at document cameras and they all have the same resolution 1024x768 but there number of pixels vary from 850,000 to 3.2mp. How can they have different pixel counts yet the same resolution?

I'm looking for a laptop to play some games on - I've come across an Asus F3JR-AP085E which is about £615 which is my budget - it has a ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 card inside - how will this fare with today's games?

I dropped my Sony Laptop and now the screen in no longer working (not cracked just black and flicking) it also won't even display on an external monitor. I want to get it fixed, can your standard highsteet computer shops fix laptops or are there specialists who would be better to go to?

When i turn the key there is no noise at all. On my display an explanation mark indicator glows red as does the little oil can and the battery. But nothing else happens. At first I just thought it was a dead battery but the car light still turns on when i get in and the headlights still do work. I have checked the fuses and they seem fine. Any one got any suggestions?

Three months ago my girlfriend sent me an email saying that she was very sorry but she no longer felt the same about me. We had had a few slightly off days but nothing serious so I was surprised and shocked when this happened. I tried to get hold of her a few times just to talk things over but she didn't reply. Although I was devastated I decided to move on, keep busy and to keep my mind off her. Now three months on I am still very much in love with her and can't stop thinking about her. Should I try again to talk to her or should I just keep trying to move on?

The movie stars eveyone's fravorite guy Rutger Hauer and was made in 1989. On play.com it said it was due to be released in October but now the release date has been removed completly. So anyone know if this is due be out on DVD soon?
