  • Is this half decent prose \ free verse, or just pathetic like I feel?

"And now you're just another story I can't tell anymore."

For every time you made me smile, I've shed that many tears.

And every time I hear your name I only miss you more.

I wake in the morning to thoughts of you and the horrible memory that you are not mine.

You said you still love me, so how could you leave?

This room just feels empty, but I still can't breathe

Such sweet memories, and dreams of the future...

Now I'm left in ruin by your departure.

  • And somehow I've lost it all. Opinions please.?

    Running from the truth,

In trouble and there’s no one to blame.

A bond unspoken yet not forgotten,

    Mind racing, sparks fly;

Run away, he said to me,

That’s not the way I saw this ending,

    But now I’m second guessing.

    All I ever dreamed of,

    All I ever wanted…

It pales in comparison to his touch,

    A forbidden romance,

Ending sadly in a single moment of desire.

  • Tell me what you think of this poem?

    You're just full of cliches

And I'm just full of memories.

    I'm Holding on while letting go;

    Life moves so fast

    I should have known.

    Flickering lights,

    A country night;

    The perfect picture,

    Another memory unfolds.

    Everything is flying by,

Another day gone down the drain,

    Another memory remains.

  • What do you think of this poem? BE HONEST?

Maybe it's me who hasn't changed,

    But maybe you're the same old word smith;

    Luring me in,

    Then changing your mind.

Maybe we're more alike than we knew,

    You've learned to do what I never could;

    Masking the feelings,

    You're seemingly numb.

Maybe there's no one else to blame,

    Just you and I and human nature;

    Like old times,

    Things never really changed.

  • Tell me about it. What do you think of this poem? Be HONEST.?

How do I live with all the what-ifs?

How can I know what could have been,

When all I know is what is?

    What has been,

    This I know,

    What will come,

    I'm happy to wonder...

    But what could have been

    Plagues my dreams.

    It's haunting me,

    both day and night.

    It's nagging me,

    every second, every day.

    What could have been,

    I'll never know,

    Time to keep on “living,”

    Wondering what could have been.

  • Do you know what game this is?

Its a game that you can play for free online. It is where you have to launch a ball from the top of the screen and hit as many of the little dots as you can before it gets to the bottom. Once you launch the ball you no longer have control of it and at the bottom of the screen there is a moving basket and if your ball happens to fall into that, you get bonus points. HELP i want to play this game. thanks :)

  • Should I hand this in?

I wrote this poem for an assignment, but I'm not so sure I should hand it it. Tell me what you think of it. Be honest

    When he yells,

    When things aren't right,

    I want to run away,

    Someplace far from here.

    But I stay,

    If only for your sake.

    Because its not perfect,

He gets upset and throws a fit,

    And I sit quietly,

    Refusing to look his way.

    But I stay,

    If only for your sake.

    You take care of me,

And I'll take care of you,

I'll do my best to deal with him,

Bite my lip and hold my tongue,

    And I will stay,

    If only for your sake.

  • Today I donated blood, and when rubbing the orange iodine off my my arm the paper towel turned blue. Why?

it was a white paper towel with no designs, so it wasn't just the ink on the paper towel bleeding through.

  • I might get this poem tattooed down the center of my back, what do you think of it?

The wind today sings a powerful song,

    A classic love struck tragedy,

But this song has a twist.

There is no death, and no soul mates,

Just earth and sky, forever bonded.

They used to sing a song of joy,

Of good things sure to come,

But now disaster's struck this land,

And all that's sung is sad.

    Disaster was the human race,

With blood stained hands, and dirtied souls,

    We populate the land.

No peace here, just war and hate,

    Forever now, a sorrowful song,

Until the day we learn to love.

Comments and critique, I wrote this.

  • Tell me about this poem. I wrote it for my boy friend. Be brutally honest.?

What is it you've done to me?

I think you stole my heart.

Even when I want to scream,

When I'm angry as can be,

    You make me smile,

    You make me laugh.

With you I forget my past,

    I live in the moment,

    Without the regrets.

What is it you've done to me?

It's true, you stole my heart.

    You can keep it,

    Just don't mistreat it.

I think that you are different,

I trust that you are true.

  • Be honest please, how is my poem?

    Yesterday seems so far away,

    And tomorrow never comes,

So what we have, is what we’ve got,

And it may not be a lot,

    But if there’s love,

    And if there’s hope,

    We can find a way,

    To life this life,

    For another day.

  • Let me know what you think of this poem.?

    A harmless fling,

    Turned into so much more,

    Take my hand,

    Don’t let me go.

I’m scared of what will happen next,

But I want you by my side.

People try to break us up,

    Don’t listen to a word,

    Remember that I love you,

I don’t want to let you down.

    I never though it’d happen,

    Me and you, that is,

    Always an attraction,

    But never quite an action,

    Now all this has changed.

On the night you took my hand,

    I looked into your eyes,

And now I just can’t look away.

    It’s meant to be,

    I know it is,

    I’ll never let you go.

    Finger on the Trigger

    Sitting alone contemplating,

    Should I pull the trigger,

Or walk away from all of this?

I cannot stay in this place,

    Your memory is haunting me,

    It's "something I cannot forget"

    My feelings are gone,

    I'm close to the edge,

    You won't save me,

    No one will.

Tomorrow I will not be missed,

So I'll pull this trigger and test my luck,

I'll see what's meant to be.

    Spin the chamber,

    Close my eyes,

    Squeeze my finger shut.

    It's all over,

    Yet I am still here,

Left with all the shattered pieces.

the quote is from the song "Not Good Enough for Truth in Cliche" by Escape the Fate

  • How bad is this poem?

    I am not like them,

    In a sea of gray,

    I stand out.

    I am the white caps,

    Not unique, but always changing,

    Forever moving forward,

    Yet never reaching land.

    There and gone,

    Within the second,

    A glimpse of reality,

    Then back to imagination,

    Always wandering,

    Never knowing where I’m going.

    I am not like them,

    But I am not unique;

    I suffer and bleed,

    Cry and laugh,

    Yet I am different,

    Or so I believe.

I swear my poems have gotten worse. I used to really like what I write, now not so much. Just be honest and tell me what you think, good or bad.
