  • Hale and Pace Spain sketch?

'Spain, land of contrasts....and lets not forget about, that spanish wine...'

Which Hale and Pace series episode has the clip where he is in Spain doing a survey on the restaurants and sipping wine in each one? He slowly gets more and more drunk in each clip and eventually ends up falling over in a side alley. Where can I find it?

  • Using butter vs margarine on toast?

My colleague suggests that margarine makes toast limp in a way that butter does not. He believes there is some science behind how warm marge reacts with toast and weakens it more that warm butter.

I’ve tried Google and there doesn’t seem to be any prior art in this field of study, or perhaps the marge industry did the research, buried the results and silenced everyone involved?

Either way, regardless of the heath benefits of one over the other, can anyone shed any light on if it’s true that marge makes your toast limp. Would be especially interested to hear from anyone who has ever worked at Benjies.

  • Would it be possible to solve the world energy crisis by using artifical gills?

Water is made of Hydrogen and Oxygen (H2O). Fish have a natural way of extracting oxygen from water using their gills. They seem to do this without expending much energy. If the oxygen is extracted from water this would leave the hydrogen. The hydrogen can then be burned in the oxygen creating energy and harmless byproduct - water. Then the cycle can be repeated.

So logically it should be possible to manufacture some artificial gills (probably using meta-materials) to to split oxygen and hydrogen to produce energy. With enough research this could be done on an industrial scale.

Hence, crisis solved! Who's with me? Any (nay sayers) see any possible problems with this?
