I have NHL - Diffuse large B cell lymphoma stage 3. My GP dismissed my symptoms for 3 months so I paid privately for 2 scans which showed swollen spleen and lymph nodes – that was a year ago now. Well it has been a long 12 months, with chemo for 8 months, 3 endoscopies and all sorts. I am starting to feel heaps better now and Yahoo! Answers has helped. Thanks folks. Not 'out of the woods' though. :(( After several delays I have now started radiotherapy aimed at spleen and central lymph nodes but it will also affect the kidneys. Still have loads of after-effects from the chemo, some permanent, waiting to see about some if they improve. Email me if I can be supportive in any way.
