I have a 3GS, and I upgraded the firmware when it came out (from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3), now I am having connectivity issues -- the cell signal keeps going from 5 bars to none to no service and sometimes I can't even make a phone call or text when I used to have full bars! I took the phone to the genius bar twice and they couldn't really help-- they just did a restore, but it's still having issues. Anyone else having these problems or know what to do? I tried reinstalling 3.1.2 from an .ipsw file but it didn't work. Any help/ suggestions much appreciated!

I'm looking for a new cell phone (I have AT&T, a Razr V3XX) because my Razr is a piece of crap. I can't hear anyone very well at all (even with my bluetooth headset), and the buttons are starting to stick.

I am really mostly interested in getting a phone that has a louder speaker volume and excellent voice quality. I don't really care about features that much, but web access and alarm clock are two that I use the most. I read that the Black Jack has good voice quality and I guess the iPhone too. Any other suggestions?

I saw the ad campaign a little over a week ago, and still can't find it at my local supermarkets (mainly Safeway in California). Has it hit stores yet?

Whenever I get stuck behind a public transportation bus, my radio signal gets all static-y. Pretty much all of my stations get fuzzy until I move out of the bus's path.

I guess I'm being obsessive, but I just need some sort of affirmation from others. So I met this guy online, we starting e-mailing each other, IMed almost every day, then decided to meet in person about 2 weeks after the first e-mail (we met up last night).

We had tons of stuff to talk about (the date lasted 4 hours, and it really only ended because all the shops and restaurants were closing up). I could tell he was nervous, as was I, so the night ended in a hug, and we made tentative plans to meet up on Tuesday (3 days later).

This is all very good, right? I think the nervousness may have been a factor. There was lots of eye contact and laughing...

Oh yeah, I may have made a mistake by sending him an e-mail last night after I got home thanking him for the date and saying that I had a really good time.

All those dating rules say you should wait a few days, right? I really hope I didn't mess things up...

I work as a vet tech and recently contracted ringworm from an infected cat. I am now using Lamisil (my MD recommended this), but I'm worried about spreading the fungus to other parts of my body before the Lamisil takes full effect. Nothing online that I've found addresses this issue. I have 2 small patches (about 1/3" in diameter), one on each arm. Can I dry myself off with the same towel I use for the rest of my body after the shower, or will it spread to the rest of my body this way?

I'm really interested in learning the pen tricks/ pen spinning. Whenever I try to get the pen to rotate though, it flies out of my hand. Am I putting too much effort into it? Can you help me? :)

I am training to be an RVT, but I feel like people don't respect the nurses as much as they do the doctors. I wanted to know if anyone had any pros to being an RVT instead of a DVM.

I have a M/T 1996 Nissan 200SX and I need to add more Power Steering Fluid to the reservoir. The manual says "Dexron II or equivalent", but the guy at Kragen said to use the Dexron III Automatic Transmission Fluid. I don't even have an A/T! Can I use this for the PSF, or will it screw up my car?

I was recently "let go" (their words) from a company, and I'm wondering if I was laid-off or fired.

I thought they were the same thing, but my friends said that it's laid-off if you are eligible collecting unemployment, fired if you're not. I am eligible for unemployment. And I was the only one whose job was terminated.

I was told that I was "being let go" from a job, but found out that I am eligible for unemployment. However, the practice owner was not comfortable with providing me with a reference for future employers. It's not like they were down-sizing or anything, but I heard that if you're fired, you aren't eligible for unemployment...

I am prompted to enter my password several times just to check and delete maybe 5 e-mails at the most. It says to allow cookies from yahoo!, but I'm not sure how to do this. In my internet Tools, the security is set to "Medium". Do I need to do something else? My Yahoo! options are to prompt for password once every 8 hours, but this happens several minutes within logging in.
