MS Removal Tool virus- how to remove?
I've got the MS Removal Tool virus/trojan thing- I've tried using anti-spyware, but the virus stops it from opening. Tried it in safe mode, said it got rid of all problems, but when restarted, virus was still there.
I've tried to remove it manually, but the directions tell me to go to
Computer/ProgramData<random MS removal tool characters> or something similar, and when I search, even in safe mode it says no such file exists.
I've enabled viewing of hidden systems and files
Help Please!
14 AnswersSecurity1 decade agoQuestion for a labor/employment lawyer about a sales job?
Here's the deal:
My husband got a job last may with an entertainment company that sells anti-drunk driving shows to high schools, etc. He was told commission was paid when shows were sold. Well, when he sold a show, the boss said commission was paid when the show got paid for. When the show got paid for, the boss said commission was paid when the show actually played. My husband started in May 2008, was told to book his shows starting April 2009, and has not been paid a single cent in commission as of yet, even though he as sold shows.
What this boss is famous for doing is firing people a week before their "big month" when they would actually start getting commission.
My husband quit last week, and now has received a promissory note from his boss stating that he owes the company $11,000 because what he received weekly were not wages, but a draw on his commission. (he recieved $250 weekly)
He worked 50 hours a week, never recieved any benefits such as vacation or sick pay.
His shows are still scheduled to go on next month, but my question is: Is any of this legal?
What if the shows do not play, as they have a mysterious habit of doing after people leave?
My husband has about $15,000 in commission owed to him, will he have to pay the $11,000 to his boss out of that, or will he not be eligible to even receive these commissions because he no longer works there.
This guy is obviously a scam, and so is his company...but now that we have been duped- are we going to have to pay?
1 AnswerLaw & Legal1 decade agoWhy do people say McCain is Bush, like they even know what Bush is about?
Says the Dem: we need to get of Iraq! Bush is the devil! Rep are evil!
Says me: can you articulate your position?
Dem: explodes.
2 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow can you people actually criticize McCains view of the military?
The man was a POW, tortured, and still loves and serves his country. He absolutely knows about being a soldier, and absolutely is concerned about their safety and well being.
It's very easy to critize from the comfort of your living room...

2 AnswersElections1 decade agoHow do you get a sponsor for an entertainment project?
like a play or musical... You know how playbills often have a sponsor- that is what I'm looking for.
I know that large corporations have departments dedicated to community giving, but I can't think of what they are called.
Is a letter with some sort of business plan enough to send out?
Thanks in advance.
2 AnswersOther - Advertising & Marketing1 decade agoHas anyone applied for a government grant to start a business?
How does it work? I've found sites, but don't know if they are scams or not. Also, are there more grants available for immigrants to the US? Thanks.

Remember when it is all Pelosi and gal pal Clinton talked about? If they really had so much "dirt" on Bush....why did they stop?
Maybe Clinton is focusing on more self serving issues...
9 AnswersElections1 decade agoDoes anyone remember the name of this song, i think from the 80's?
It is something like: "if you think I could hurt you"
it is really long, and the version on the radio was live, and there was a long interval in the song where you can just hear the crowd...it was featured on Family Ties once too...
anyone?
1 AnswerOther - Music1 decade agoWhy does the DNC care when Michigan has it's primary?
Yes, I know it is tradition that some states are first, but that is B.S. It's undemocratic to let some states primaries or caucuses count more than others. There is no law requiring it...so why are they being such sissies?
1 AnswerGovernment1 decade agoDid anyone else click on a phony immigration video?
And get Rick Astley? I reported it, the question got deleted, but what did it do to my computer, if anything?
2 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoWhy are people such jerks? Don't asnwer a question by someone named: No ooo?
or something like that. He had an "immigration" video, but it takes you to a Rick Astley video, that you can't get to stop playing.
3 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoWhat happened to common sense? A republican asks about Obama....?
Why would people continue to spout senseless rumors about Obama? Do you really think that Senators would just let is slide if he actually turned his back to the flag, or any of the other ridiculous things I've read?

15 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhat do you think of Senators that igore their duties?
Clinton, Obama, McCain, Edwards...all promised in their senatorial elections to work for their respective states...but how often have they been in the Senate in the last year?
Would you vote for them as Senator of YOUR state again?
3 AnswersElections1 decade agoanyone know anything about landlord-tenant situations?
Have a court date tomorrow. I moved out in early December, terminated my lease early. I owe them three months of rent because of this. I have made arrangements to pay them, even sent them a signed letter, turned in the keys. They say they are taking me to court to get a money judgment, and evict me....is this a waste of time? I was never served papers personally, they were posted on the outside door of the apartment complex for the world to see...saw them when I went to get the last of my mail.
