3 AnswersGobierno6 years agoWhat does Prince William eat for breakfast?
I've always been fascinated with the thought of what William has for breakfast each morning. Could it be cereal? If so, what kind? Wheat-based? Could it be oatmeal? And if so, what brand? Quaker? Is he the continental breakfast type or does he indulge himself? Does he even eat breakfast at all or does he skip the most important meal of the day? Please share your thoughts and opinions on what you think he eats every morning to rise and shine.
11 AnswersRoyalty10 years agoIf WW4 will be fought with stick and stones what will WW5 be fought with?
Albert Einstein once said that while he was unaware what weapons would come into play during World War III, he speculated World War IV 'will be fought with stick and stones'. It makes me wonder what weapons, if any, will be readily available during World War V?
2 AnswersOther - Politics & Government10 years agoWhat do you think of Felipe Calderon's suggestion that the Assault Weapons Ban be imposed again?
According to Mexican President Calderon, 80 percent of all firearms seized in Mexico come from the United States. With that in mind, he invited President Obama, while not bluntly opposing or suggesting that the 2nd Amendment be rewritten all-together, that the U.S. take the first step in restricting its U.S. citizens from 'the right to keep and bear arms' as much as possible and in return help Mexico in keeping its Mexican citizens away from guns as much as possible. Traditionally, Mexican citizens are only entitled to a few low profile calibers under the principle that while every citizen has the right to self-defense, he or she only requires a small arm of small ammunition to do so and therefore any firearm or ammunition outside that clause is strictly forbidden to citizens and exclusive to members of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies. Out of context, Calderon pretty much suggested that while Mexico has shown to be ineffective in preventing the illegal flow of arms into the country, the United States can start helping by limiting the right and access of weapons to its own citizens. Would this be right approach?
4 AnswersPolitics10 years agoCould the Somali pirates wage war on the United States?
With the Maersk Alabama incident in 2009 and the recent private yacht Quest incident, it seems that the Somali pirates are more than willing to engage U.S. armed forces. Are they really organized and equipped enough with manpower and firepower to put up a good show at sea?
6 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoWhat do you think of Hugo Chavez's theory that capitalism and imperialism was the cause of Mars' demise?
On a recent speech, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez suggested that Mars actual condition was likely the cause of a society driven by capitalist and imperialist ideologies. Scientists have always theorized the idea the Mars was once a planet similar to ours; harboring life, vast oceans and vegetation. Somewhere down the road, all that went away and recent research have suggested the planet may still be alive to some degree considering there may be water present. On his usual rhetoric about United States policy, Chavez suggested that we might as well see Mars as a reflection as to whats coming ahead of us if we continue running our world that way we do and, of course, he couldn't help directing his thoughts towards his opposition and disapproval of the United States.
4 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIf a dinosaur killer-size asteroid were to hit our planet, would the event be used for political gains?
It seems that everything that happens these days can somehow be tied up to politics, use to push some agenda forward or against someone; with this in mind, if our planet were struck by a 10-mile wide rock, would the media, politicians, or the government use it to further fuel the everyday tug-o-war rhetoric?
7 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoShould we apologize for what we think?
We often apologize for what we say as what we say can sometimes offend others, be considered improper, create animosity, lead to broken friendships, relationships, partnerships and so on... but in a sense, a retracted statement is still an aforethought statement and even though we may apologize for it or take it back, it does not mean that the thought itself has been taken back as one is free to think. So, celebrities and politicians often end up apologizing publicly for comments or statements they've made when they realize their virtue of speaking their thoughts freely may bring them negative consequences. With this in mind, should we apologize for having thought and spoken or only for what we've spoken?
5 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoWhat are the plans for continuity of government if another dinosaur extinction size-like asteroid struck?
65 million years ago, give or take a few days, an 6-mile in diameter asteroid struck on what is now the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. If an event like this were to happen again, what cards under their sleeves do our world leaders have to assure our societies the human race will prevail- and equally important, government functions, law and order, and the such will continue accordingly?
1 AnswerGovernment1 decade agoWhat city does the movie The Air I Breathe take place in..?
I just saw this film. It was filmed in Mexico City. Some exterior shots can be identified as Mexico City and in at least one shot you can see the LA skyline as well. The license plates on cars don't say "California" or "Mexico, D.F." so it left me wondering that maybe the film was purposely set in an unidentified or ficticious city like the city in The Matrix. Well, if anyone saw the film and cares to opinion... go ahead.
1 AnswerMovies1 decade agoHow much money does Mr. Smithers (from The Simpsons) make?
Hm, we all know Mr. Burns is the richest person in The Simpsons. Being Smithers his executive assistant, financial advisor, caretaker, driver, butler, and just about everything else and not to mention his most trusthworthy employee as shown in the show, it makes sense to think Burns takes care of him quite well (although not in the sense Smithers would like to be taken care of... :) Well, for purely imaginative purposes, how much bank does Smithers pull, let's say every year? Real-life exec assistants working for big name companies in places like New York can make more than 60K but of course, they tend mostly to in-office and business-related tasks and your occassional trips to Starbucks but they don't drive their boss, manage their fortune, rescue them from those out to kill them, and whatnot; or maybe they do, right?... So maybe he pays Smithers a based salary of 100k, plus Christmas bonuses and stocks... what do you think?
2 AnswersComedy1 decade agoWhat advice should I give a friend who is going through her first relationship and the guy insists on sex?
My friend is 20 and still a virgin. We've known each other for 8 years. Her b/f keeps trying to have sex with her but she doesn't want to. She had anul sex with him and she didn't even know anul penetration constitutes sex. She hated the whole experience and found it painful and dirty. Now she feels ashamed and worries about where her relationship is escalating to and his real intentions. She says she doesn't love him and doesn't want to sleep with him but it seems she finds it difficult to avoid getting intimate with him. I think she's inexperienced and naive and if she's not careful, she'll do something she will later regret. I feel the guy is not respecting her and should not force things because if she ever truly loved him, things will give in by themselves. I would like to hear opinions and advice on whether I should tell her to dump him or should she get to know him more and make it clear to him she doesn't want to have sex with him? If you want the whole story, e-mail me.
