I have been following tips and tricks from many books, people, and internet sites on how to keep my (now) 6 month old Australian Shepherd to stop jumping on people. She is very smart and well behaved otherwise, obeys basic commands like sit and stay and even to shake. I'm at a point where I would love to just send her to a trainer or have a trainer come to my home, but I live in a very rural area and that option isn't available to me. I guess I'm looking for ideas from others that maybe I haven't come across yet.

My saddle itself is in good shape, but I had it in storage for a few years and the stirrup leathers are very hard. I've oiled them repeatedly and while they aren't dry anymore, they still are very stiff. Do I need to soak them in something?

I live in south Mississippi. We bought a house and there are fig trees that obviously haven't been trimmed much (if at all) because they are well over 10 feet. I'd like to trim them down as much as possible so that the fruit isn't so high and I can pick it. I know that the fruit will only grow on new growth, and it doesn't matter to me if I have to skip a bearing season...I just want to get the trees back down to a maintainable level.

We recently replaced all the old paned windows (around 80 years old) in our home and I want to turn some of them into mirrors. What would be my first step in doing this? Who do I take them to? Do I special order the mirror and do it myself? What is a round about cost in doing it? As you can see, I want something done that I have no clue about and any lead in any direction would help. :o)

I'm traveling to St Louis Friday for my anniversary and would like to know a nice place to go out to eat. The cuisine doesn't really make a difference, but Italian is my favorite. As long as the food is good and it's in a romantic setting I'll be happy. Thanks :o)

I want to make up these "teller survival kits". I've already thought to put in tylenol, chocolate (all women, lol), maybe a stress ball. What are some other things to put in it, how could I package it? I've thought of wrapping with a coffee mug, but the bank is always giving coffee mugs away so I may just put it in a bag. One idea or 10, I don't care...bring em on :o)

There are so many detox diets out there, they can range from 3 days to a month. I just want something simple, to detox my body before I start dieting - which is basically just going to be that I start eating healthy food instead of all the fast food crap I have been eating. Any thoughts?

My previous farrier has retired and claims to not know anyone who can do this. My horse needs special shoes fitted to his feet, so a "hot" shoer would be ideal. Thanks to anyone that can help!
