  • What is the rule for police?

When police are on the side of the road at night, aren't they supposed to have some sort of light on? I didn't think they were allowed to sit in complete darkness and then pull people over. Only reason I ask is I see one officer on my road at night all the time pull people over and he sits in complete darkness.

  • What to sell...?

I have to give a product demonstration in my professional selling class. Problem is, I'm stuck on a product that I could try and sell to the class while staying in the guidelines. Here are the rules:

-You must be able to describe all the features of the product.

-You must demonstrate the product in front of the class.

-You must demonstrate the products' competitor and show why it is not as good as your product.

It also must be cheap, so that if I must go out and purchase two of these items I'll be able to afford it.

Any ideas of what to 'sell'? Thanks!

  • 2 Microsoft Excel Questions...?

How do I bring the dollar sign closer to my number? Currently, it looks like (without the periods):

    $......................20

    Also,

I have merged 2 rows together, the first with the title, and the second with the date. I need the date to update everytime the file is opened. However, when entering the formula =TODAY() nothing happens, but when I do it outside of the box, it works fine. Any suggestions?

When there is a double header, fans who want to see both games, do they have to buy two tickets? Or do they watch (and pay for) the first game and just hang around for the second game?

  • How do/did they know about hurricanes in the Atlantic?

They showed maps last year on TV about tracks that hurricanes made out in the Atlantic. How do they know exactly where they went, if they didn't have the technology we have today? How did they know how strong they were, and that there were hurricanes even out there?

  • My brother..?

The other day, I went in to my brothers room to find a shirt I think he had. While there, I found rather explicit photos of nude men, along with a couple video tapes. I am guessing my brother is either exploring himself or he is gay. He is 15, so I guess maybe he is just curious? I am not sure if I should confront him about it, or just wait to him to talk about it. I don't want him to make any mistakes that he may end up regretting. As his older brother (19), do you think he'd rather me bring it up than him? I know if my parents found out they would most likely flip. So overall, talk to him, or let it be?

  • Which lane?

I was just wondering...I live in the Orlando, Florida area, and on most highways I travel on, there are 3 lanes you can drive on...fast lane, middle lane, and slow lane...I have seen people pulled over after being in the fast lane, the slow lane, but never in the middle lane. I normally go 70-75 in the 65 areas, so is the middle lane best to not be caught?

I have to create a business plan for a marketing project at school. The one thing I am surprisingly having trouble with is thinking of a name for the restaurant I have 'made'. It's a taco buffet. If anybody could suggest some names I'd appreciate it.

  • What do you think about this?

For those of you who have read The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, you have probably heard of all the references to racism. We just finished reading it in my English 102 class, and the teacher (who strongly disagrees with racism), asked the two black students what they thought about the book and if they were offended. The one student answered it fine, but the other stood up and started shouting at the teacher. She didn't like the fact the teacher asking the question, and pointing out the fact they were black. Now, I don't like the word ***... being used in the book, and I'm sure it must make her feel bad, but I don't think it was right for her to shout at the teacher. What do you think?
