I don't know a lot about investing. I don't have a lot of money to start with. But, I was wondering what is a good way for a person in their late twenties to invest for retirement? I know that you take the chance of losing money, but what's a good way with not losing a lot along the way?

I have tried to look these up but can't find what i'm looking for. I need to make different shapes for an assignment:

Absolute: I believe it means to cut an object down the center and it's the same on both sides?

Approximate: I believe it means to cut an object down the center and it's different on both sides?

Symmetry: i believe it means to cut an object across the middle and it's the same on top and bottom?

Radial is a perfect circle

But, what is Approximate radial?

I have this project to do. I had to make a field and by using layers make an object, layer by layer go outside of the field. Now that it's outside of the field I made I need to make the pieces of the object, that are outside, white, like the background. When my professor showed me how to do this he used some tool that cut the outside images and then made them white. Does anyone have any idea how to do this?
