1 AnswerPhilippines1 decade agoI ate at a restaurant in Burnside, LA a few years ago and I'd like to know the name of it?
They had a large concrete alligator in the front of the building and had quite a notoriety at the time. I think it was close to a railroad track and west of I10 on the north side of the narrow paved road. The building was circular in shape and may have been a water holding tank for the steam engines. Of course, their specialty was cajun cuisine.
1 AnswerEthnic Cuisine1 decade agoThere was a pizza ad in the Fort Wayne paper a few weeks ago showing a deep dish Chicago style pIzza?
The pizza looked fantastic but there was no address. Does anyone know where this place is?
4 AnswersChicago1 decade agoDoes anyone know anything about the beer Benedict & Hunsche?
It was made in Fort Wayne, IN according to the embossing on the glob top bottle (wire clamp) around the time Centlivre and Bergoff were brewing in the city; but I've been unable to find any information about it. I need some help from some old timers (beer drinkers) or bottle collectors. According to the fellow I bought it from years ago; the liquid in the bottle is the original beer. Probably stale by now.

5 AnswersBoats & Boating1 decade agoThere used to be a great ice cream parlor in Jackson, MI on the west end of town. Is it still in business?
The name at one time was (Loud)? and Jackson's or at least that was what it sounded like. It was the best ice cream parlor I had ever been to and I'd like to try it again. I'd like to know the current name, if it has changed hands. Thanks.
2 AnswersOther - Local Businesses1 decade agoDoes anyone know of a golden round-domed temple in the Philippines or northern Borneo?
We were flying north from Jakarta to Taipei and as I looked out the east side of the airplane, I saw this temple which appeared golden and nestled in the clouds. It could have been in northern Borneo or the Philippines or somewhere in between. Does anyone have any info on it? It was awe inspiring.
