I have not done much homework on the rules for ase testing and i was wondering if you have to be in the same shop for two years or any number of shops for two years to take the test?

any tips or points anyone can give would be great

i have a damaged amp that needs soldering

i know what a few things are and what they do....i just need a site that would explain what all the basic parts of an amp do....e.i. explain how an amp actually works

My ex gf and i dated for allmost 3 years but the past three months i treated her like i did not love her anymore....like make her call me all the time or i would get off work and stay at home instead of going over to her house (started a new job and we got really buzy so i was tired) and she would allways do things for me that she knew i would like but i would refuse to do anything for her for little reasons. we had talks that i couldnt understand but i did not realize all of it untill she wanted to break up

I realize i was a dick and did not show her i loved her but I allways have and i feel really bad for taking her for granted

we still talk everyday and i am trying to show her i still care and love her but i feel like i hurt her so bad she is trying to convince herself not to give me another chance

i am scared that she wants to give other guys the time of day she use to give me or just take time and be single since she just started college

should i give up or move on?

i already took care of the problem but i want to know how the top contributors will answer....more of a debate 10 points to whoever gives the cheapest most logical answer

a co-workers power circuit for his radio kept shorting out radios so a harness would be no good

how would you go about getting an aftermarket cd player installed?

i have the JL 1000/1 pushing 2 12w6v2's but i feel like i can get more out of the amp even tho my local car stereo shop can only tell me the w6 hits alot harder

my amp is turned up just past half way and i know i cant get any more out of the amp with these subs....if i try i WILL burn the voice coils

anybody feel like my shop is tryin to keep me away from the w7? and would it be worth it to sell these subs buy a w7 or 2 and build a new box?

i love JL so please....nobody tell me to check anything other than JL out

need to test an amp out of car....can i take a power cord and hook it up to a car battery and then hook the car stereo up to the battery

i would be using 110v to hook up the battery

do i need some kind of conversion or anything?

i have a credit score off 711 and i have had a credit history of over 2 years without any late payments and i never went over my limits

i had a secured loan that i never missed a payment on and is now paid off

my biggest worry is i usually only make about $1200 a month

should i be worried about gettin a loan?

from 8th grade i went from a 2:27 800m to a 2:14 and a 5:26 1600m my freshman year

i liked the 800m so much i would push myself to run a 59 flat on my 1st lap i just didnt have the stamina to finish strong

i dont remember my sophmore times

junior year i quit and began to do bad stuff....like smoke...not just cigs...but after not running anymore and smoking i was still running better times (5:38 mile) than some of the guys still on the team.......dont worry some guys were under 4:30 in the 1600m

i quit my old job about 3-5 months ago because my manager wrote me up twice because i called in ONE day and said i had family issues and another for not working overtime because i allready had family plans.....(one of the reasons)

when i quit i still had a week vac pay so i just got an extra check and we talked about it....when that payday came it wasnt there so i called him on his cell phone when he was with his family (coincidence) and asked where my money was

last week i went back to talk to old co-workers and he told me i had to leave the property and before i knew it he was in my face asking if i wanted to go out back and fight and calling me a smartass.....i never made a single gesture to him prior to this....i actually did get the money the week after i asked so i forgot about the situation

why would he do this?

should i tell his supervisor?

it gets hot when i do alot of city driving for a long time usually more than a half hour....never gets to the red

what are normal operating temps for this car?

what is dangerous?

what can cause this?

here is the problem: my box moved in my trunk and a few wires came loose....when i hooked it all up the system acted like the speaker wires were reversed on one speaker....but the entire electrical system gets a very low voltage...(e.i. every light gets dim, blower motor slows down, and battery light comes on)

i checked the entire positive wire and shortened the negative...now the amp says low voltage..but it did turn on for a short time and doesnt work...i think that is the ground location

battery is rated at 450 cca and 525 new (good)

alternator is putting out 80+ amps at 2000rpm and high at 94amps and running at 12.4 volts(or more i think) (good)

both were tested at dealership were i work

What is causing this problem?

any ideas or answers will be appreciated

also what is the purpose of baffeling?

No clue when it comes to ubuntu...im in root now i need a step for step to install cedega which the file is on my desktop

Im going to be buying my toy car and I cant decide if I want to get a 96 or 97 Cougar and make it a muscule car or something like a civic and just make it a cool show car

Uncle installed Ubuntu on my computer and that is the only system that works...cannot play windows games anymore or even install them...I need step for step process to play windows games with i think ubuntu 5.01???
