  • If working overnight causes medical issues related to sleep loss, is it considered "Good Cause" to quit a job & get unemployment in Nevada?

Scenario: You start a new job, but working overnight hours is causing sleep related disorders like insomnia or could possible lead to and inability to drive safely because you re too tired and sleepy to drive when you get off. In the state of Nevada could you quit your job and temporarily receive unemployment while you look for a new job with day time hours?

  • Second Chance Apartments in Las Vegas?

I'm trying to compile a list of apartment complexes in the Las Vegas area that allow renters to move in with just one eviction on their record as long as they have proof of income they can afford the unit. If you're the landlord/rental agent or renter of such a property I would greatly appreciate your input.

  • How long does it take for an eviction to show up on your rental record in Nevada?

I m hoping to get answers from those who work in the eviction court process, or those who have been through it in the state of Nevada. Once a tenant has been evicted from a unit how long does it take for eviction notice to show up on their rental history report where prospective landlords and rental agencies can see it? Is it instant or does it take a few days/weeks?

  • Are there direct lenders who operate in Nevada that offer unsecured loans based solely off of your income as proof that you can repay it?

There at a lot of personal loan websites but many are third party sites that pass your info on to leaders. If you do luck up on a direct lender some don t do business in the state of Nevada. So I d like to hear from people who were able to find direct lenders who do business in the state of Nevada that offer large (1,000 or more) unsecured personal or signature loans based off of your income not your credit.

  • What insurance companies in Las Vegas offer affordable Car Insurance for people with accidents on their records?

I'm about to buy a new car in a few days. I lost my last one in an at-fault accident. I've been researching insurance quotes and many are ridiculously higher than my old insurance because of the accident. I understand my insurance premium will be higher now, but I still want to pay something decent. Does anyone know from experience of any insurance companies (local to Las Vegas or nationwide) that offer lower priced (under $200 a month) auto insurance even if you've had an accident?

  • Is Uber back is Vegas?

Über won the right to come to Las Vegas late last year. But after only a short time they were banned again. I've read news articles saying that rideshare companies like Über would be allowed back in Vegas in July of this year. So my question to anyone currently living in or visiting Vegas: is Über really back in Vegas right now?

  • Is there a central Casino hiring center in Las Vegas?

I keep hearing from fellow tables games dealers (and friends who've visited Vegas), that there is a centralized employment center to put in applications to work at all of the casinos on the strip. What exactly are they talking about? Is there a big agency through which all casinos find potential employees? I wanna move to Vegas and be a casino cocktail waitress. Would be be better to apply a this big agency, or go directly to the casinos themselves to put in an application?.

  • Who earns more money in Las Vegas casinos, Dealers or Coctail Waitresses.?

I m currently working as a dealer at a casino in the Midwest. I had a coworker leave our casino as a dealer, to go to a different casino as a cocktail waitress. Some people say she may be earning more money. So I want to ask people who have worked in the casino industry out in Vegas...Who makes more money at the casinos in Vegas: table game dealers or Cocktails waitresses???

PS. Who makes more between cocktail waitresses who walk around with drinks and bartenders who just stand at the bar serving drinks?

  • Are there pay day loan stores that don't require bank accounts in Chicago, IL?

I know traditional pay day loan stores require a checking account to get a loan because they want customers to write a check to automatically withdraw the payments. You have to have an bank account to get loans from online payday loan stores because that's the only way for them to transfer your money electronically. But I want to know are there any physical walk in pay day loan stores in Chicago that allow you to get a payday loan with no bank account?

PS. Yes I know the risks of PDL stores. I'm not getting a huge amount and can pay it back quickly.

  • How long do you have to live in California to acquire residency?

I lived and worked in California for about 5 months last year. I plan to move back to California permanently this summer. I'd like to enroll in California's medicaid health program when I get there. I checked the website and it says you must be a California resident to be eligible. So how long do you have to be in California to obtain residency?

PS. I'm not trying to establish residency for for the purpose of getting instate tuition for school. I know that takes 366 days. I just wanna know how long you have to live there to establish general residency.

Are there any other regionally accredited and legitimate online high schools that are a little cheaper than Penn Foster? I specifically wanna know if James Madison (a.k.a Ashworth) is legitimate.

  • Is Lincoln Academy Online High School Legitimate?

Is Lincoln Academy Online high school a legitimate and accredited high school? I wanna know two specific things from those who have graduated from this school:

    1. Were you able to use your high school diploma from Lincoln Academy to get into a college (even a local community college)?

    2. Did your diploma from Lincoln Academy allow you to get a job? If an employer checks your background will it show up that you have a high school diploma?

I just want to confirm that this is not a scam or "diploma mill". I wanna make sure that Lincoln Academy is a legitimate school who's diploma is accepted by jobs and institutions of higher education.

  • Where can I watch the pilot episode of Being Mary Jane?

Being Mary Jane is a huge hit and last night I wanted to watch the season finale. But I wanted to watch ALL of the show before I watched the ending. Comcast on demand has all the episodes of season 1. But when I clicked on the video mareked episodes 1 season 1, it begins explaining what happened previously. But I wondered if this was the first episode how could there be anything previous to it. Then I found out there was a pilot/test episode that came on last summer before the series itself started new episodes this year. Where can I watch the pilot episode that came on before the series launched?

  • How Do you find a Loan Shark in Los Angeles?

Yes I do understand how expensive and dangerous loan sharks can be. I've heard all of the horror stories, and know what risk I run getting involved with a loan shark. I've tried and, NO, I can't get a loan in the amount I need from any normal/traditional lending institution.

Having said all of that, I'd like to know where I could find a loan shark in the Los Angeles Area. Of course they wouldn't have a store front office (except for Pay Day Loan companies who are the legal loan sharks, lol). So how would I find one? NOTHING ONLINE. I'm talking about finding a real person who makes loans with high interest in person. I guess what I'm asking is: since a loan shark isn't something you just look up in a phone book, how do people go about finding them?

  • What Los Angeles Agencies hire home health aids and personal caregivers who are NOT certified nurses?

In another state I knew a few people who worked as home health aids and/or in-home caregivers. They worked in the homes of elderly and disabled people to provide daily help around the house, such as cleaning, cooking and mainly providing companionship. Although the title had health in the name they were not nurses and had no formal medical education. I would like to know if there are agencies like that in Los Angeles: companies that hire you to work as a personal in-home care-giver without being a certified Nurse.

  • What stores buy back used and damaged cell phones?

I'm always seeing tv commercials for programs that pay cash to buy used and even damaged cell phones, to resale them or just recycle their usable parts. I've checked out websites for a few cell-phone recycling companies and they seemed pretty legit. However, I have a low grade android that's damaged and most sites were only estimating it's trade in value at around $10. That's too low to bother with all of the shipping and waiting. But I still wanna get rid of the phone and do my "green part" by recycling it. So does anyone know of a physical walk-in store that buys back or recycles old cell phones and electronics?

  • Where can I search for black and women owned businesses (particularly in Chicago)?

After I decided to make an bigger effort to support American owned businesses, I decided to also try to support minority owned businesses, particularly black and female owned businesses. I've researched the topic online and learned about Minority Business Enterprise/Women's Business Enterprise (MBE and WBE). But I can't seem to find resourceful websites that have up-to-date listings of minority owned businesses, that you can search for by location. Does anyone know of any?
