I have some experience, but not with XP and I can't find it's root. Does it have a different name? It pops up at each restart and over-rides config, and only F* and last good config gets me in. Aside from buying it for $70, what do I do to remove it completely? I've tried Norton, AVG and spybot so far.

4 weeks ago, I bought a nifty computer from Circuit City. Even after disabling it's Norton security that's so perfect, that it proudly declares that it has successfully stopped all the programs I've tried to load.

Vista upgrades for my new Lexmark All In One printer won't load. Even after running VistaClean.

Also, Vista doesn't like most of my older programs. You know, the ones I absolutely require to pay the rent!

I'm fed up with these bozos, and their crappy products!

But before I give up and file suit, I was wondering if there was anyone out there with a quick fix?
