I live in a shared house with about 5 other people, our landlord included. Recently our oven broke and our landlord hasn't yet replaced it even though I made him aware of it nearly a month ago.

Other people in the house survive on microwave meals but most of my food requires to be oven cooked.

I appreciate ovens are expensive but have I given him enough time? Last year the freezer broke and I kept asking him to replace it, in the end I gave up after about 5 months and brought my own which we all use, including him so I'm not very optimistic about him getting a new oven any time soon if at all.

Do I have any rights on this issue?

i'm getting about 30 a day from people i've never heard of. Sometimes people on different continents. Why is this happening and what can i do to stop it?

Obviously cooking, but what else?

Recieved a text saying that I won something and to text 88999, then I got 3 texts back costing £1.50 each which I stupidly deleted.

Today is saturday, i have 2 direct debits that i thought would have come out earlier today so i took all my money out of my account, but i just found out that direct debits don't come out on saturdays, i think it's too late to cancel them since the bank won't be open tomorrow so what can i do?

She keeps saying that she hates her family and that nobody understands her, she gets upset easily and locks herself away in her room on a daily basis.

I want to help her as I'm the only one in her family of 9 who she speaks to, but what can I do?

My 15 year old sister has just told me is being bullied in school, is finding the work too hard and is having trouble understanding her schoolwork due to dyslexia.

Today she has shown me evidence of self harm.

As far as I know, nobody else knows about this and I am treating it with the strictest confidentiality.

She says the problem won't go away unless she moves school, but with it being this close to her GCSE exams, she won't be aloud, besides, she's already moved schools less than 4 months ago.

She feels worthless and says that nobody cares about her, and that the world would be better without her.

I'm prepared to do everything necessary to help her.

Her parents must not know about her self harming, so please don't challenge that in your answer, it's strictly out of the question.

Any advice would be brilliant.

Ok, here's something for you to figure out if you're bored.

My sound doesn't work.

When trying to play mp3 the following error message is displayed. "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly."

In the control panel, it doesn't recognize that there is a sound device on my computer.

In the device manager there are no hardware conflicts

I've reinstalled the driver and I get the following message "Driver not found! Reboot your system, and run this setup again."

No matter how many times I reinstall the driver then reboot the system I get the same message.

The sound doesn't work through speakers or headphones and I have managed to get sound back temporarily by rebooting the driver but that doesn't work anymore.
