  • Ovulation at beginning or end of cycle?

Just wondering... is there anyone who has gotten pregnant from ovulating near the beginning or end of their cycle and not in the middle? I know that most women ovulate mid cycle but after 4 negative OPKs for the past 4 months, I'm wondering if I ovulate early or late. One of my close friends got pregnant two days after her period so I'm just curious how common this is... any thoughts anyone???

  • Question about OPKs... I'm so frustrated! Please Help!?

Has this happened to anyone else? Last month I tried the Answer brand OPK strips (the 20 pack) and every single test gave me insufficent results. This month I'm trying the First Response OPK tests (20 pack) and again I'm getting a positive every single time! The two months previous to this I've used the Target brand OPKs and only had negative results. I'm not sure what the problem is. I know I'm using them the right way. Does anyone have experience with this? Any suggestions? Thanks!

  • Ovulation Predictor Kit!!!? Read....?

Hi ladies. Just wanted to give a heads up to all my fellow TTC-ers. Do not waste your money and buy the Answer brand OPK or strips! They don't work. I bought the 7 day OPK and the 20 day strips. I've had nothing but inaccurate results with both. With both, the two lines have been the same exact size, shape and color and there is no way that I've been ovulating every day for the past month! One of my friends had the same exact thing happen to her. There were also a few ladies on yesterday who had the same problems as me! Just thought I'd share as TTC can be a very stressful and frustrating time! I'd recommend the Target brand, Walgreens brand, Clear Blue Easy or First Response. Baby dust to all.

  • Don't know what else to do??? Help!?

So I've been TTC for a little over a year now. I was on BC for 5 years and I've been off for over a year and a half now. I've been charting my ovulation days, using OPKs (so far only negative and inaccurate results), cutting down on caffeine and taking prenatals. Tried to track my BBT but my life is too hectic to keep track. I've seen a doctor and she won't recommend me to a specialist until I've been using the OPK for at least six months. I'm so tired of thinking about it that I don't know what to do anymore. Any words of encouragement? Anyone in the same position as me?

  • Problem with ovulation strips???

Can anyone recommend a good brand of ovulation detector kits? I've used the Target brand and it was okay but I've had nothing but inaccurate results with the Answer brand ovulation strips. Anyone use a certain brand that gave them a clear positive and got pregnant? Thanks in advance!

  • How bad is caffeine when TTC?

A couple days a week, I will take HALF a caffeine pill just to wake me up in the morning and get me going. Is this hurting my chances, does anyone know? Thanks in advance.

  • Can eating habits really affect ovulation?

One of my friends who just had a baby told me that eating habits really affect ovulation? Is this true? I searched WebMD.com but didn't find anything about it.

  • Pre-natal vitamin problems?

I've been ttc for a little over a year now and about 2 months ago I started taking the CVS brand pre-natals. I've noticed that since taking them my period has become more irregular and my nails are weak and breaking. Has this happened to anyone else?
