My 10 week old son has just started teething. He is very cranky and drooling even more than normal. I checked his gums and he has a hard white bump on his lower gum.

Any ideas as to how long until this breaks through? Also, I would be very glad to hear of any tips for relieving his pain. He won't take the teething rings I've offered and will only suck and chew on his thumb at the moment. I gave him some baby Tylenol, which seems to help.

I have a large growth of poison ivy in my yard. The problem is that it is growing up through a large shrub that I don't want to harm or get rid of. I'm afraid to use any weed sprays like Round-Up for fear of what it will do to the shrub.

Does anyone with any experience in this area have any suggestions?

I have a problem for class in which I have to derive the following:

f(x)=x sqrt(5-x)

I know I have to use Chain Rule, but I can't make the answer match the one in the back of the book. I am so far off, it's not even funny.

The answer given is (10-3x)/2( sqrt(5-x)).

How in the world do I get that?

My dog has been sick recently and the veterinarian recommended I give him boiled chicken. I'm going to buy some bone-in breasts.

I've never boiled chicken before. How long do you cook it and how do you know when it's done? I don't want risk giving him under-cooked chicken.

I have run virus scan and spyware scans, both of which came up clean. I set folder options to show hidden files.

Also, when I check the drive's properties, it still says 100gigs are in use, so the files seem to be still there, yet I cannot access or see them.

I'm interested in reading some novels set in and around Philadelphia (as I am from the area). So far, I've only been able to find the Badge of Honor series by W.E.B. Griffin.

Can anyone recommend any good reads? I will read in any genre except chick lit.

On a related note, does anyone know of any good way to search for literature by setting?
