  • Soldiers can be reprimanded /punished for pregnancy?

Ok, so what I saw is that soldiers serving can be reprimanded for becoming pregnant or for getting someone pregnant during duty. Why is it that the government can put limits on this for our soldiers, but say it would be a violation of human rights to put these same limits on illegals or welfare mothers? Makes ya say hmmmmmmm.

  • This "too posh to push" generation?

My cousin's GF was just induced to have her first baby two and a half weeks early for NO medical reason. This girl acts as if a baby has never been born before, that no one has ever been as tired as she, never been as uncomfortable etc etc... Why do so many of these young mothers think that it should be THEIR choice when these babies are born? Do they not know what that extra 2 weeks development time can mean for immature lungs? Add that to these women who schedule unnecessary c section so that the baby will come on a date more "convenient" to them and it makes me want to scream! I've had 5 kids, I've been cranky, uncomfortable, tired too, but never would I force a baby to be born before it was ready. Is there ANYBODY left that thinks the way I do anymore??

  • What would you do here??(20 characters)?

My father in law gave my husband a piece of property a few years ago. (a few acres) My husband told his dad he decided to sell the property and the father in law said to go for it. My husband has a brother and a sister, he is wondering if upon the sale of the property, is the money his, or should he split it with his siblings? I want to get a sampling of what you all think. Oh, and PS.. His 2 siblings are better off financially than we are. If that matters.

  • Ok..Here's what we have so far..?

Obama hasn't even been in office for a year and already the government has basically taken over the banking industry, the major 3 auto makers, and is now working on governmental control of health care. If somebody would have said all this 20 years ago the reply would have been "No way, not in America!" Question is...(and I'm afraid to ask..) What's next?

  • When did this happen??? (repost)?

When did the word "mine" become "mines"?? And when did the idiotic term "prego" replace simply being "pregnant? I know I'm old and all... but did I miss a "dumbing down" memo or something??

  • Michael Jackson's parents to get custody!!?

99.9% of the problems suffered by Michael Jackson and his siblings cn be traced directly to their psychotic father.. and their "saint" of a mother allowed all of the abuse to take place. Now, the courts are prepared to give custody of Michael's 3 children to these two? How many kids do these 2 parents get to torment???

  • Yet ANOTHER Jon and Kate "observation"?

I tuned in last night and watched Jon and Kate being interviewed separately. Although Kate has been guilty of berating Jon since day one, the most surprising line of the night for me came from Jon. Imagine how the kids will feel one day when they watch that episode and hear their father saying flippantly "Yeah, it's sad, but it's a new chapter in my life and I'm excited!" This shows me that this guy emotionally checked out of this marriage a long time ago. Any other opinions on the show?

  • Swine flu, measels, and illegals?

The US is seeing diseases that we pretty much had wiped out. Now recently here in Pittsburgh there was a measles outbreak that was linked to an "undocumented" family from India. Swine flu(from Mexico) is spreading through Texas, California and now schools are being closed in New York..How long is the US supposed to allow people carrying who knows what through our front door? Sorry if I don't sound "PC" enough for ya, but what's it going to take?

Anybody else besides me worried about what's going to happen when school is out for the summer and we can't get any break at all from this obviously unbalanced poster and her rambling questions? Is there some reason YA can't block any and all accounts set up by this person?

  • PNC bank "dress code" (Pittsburgh, PA)?

PNC bank has signs on the door asking people to remove hats, hoods, sunglasses. They use a bogus excuse that "we want to recognize our customers" but it's obviously to prevent robberies. Yet lo and behold a Muslim can walk in wrapped from head to foot and they won't say a word. Anything termed"religious headgear" is fine. Anybody else but me see this as total BS? Or are they just too afraid to wind up in religious and racial descrimination lawsuits?

  • Why are we subjected to this over and over again?

Just wondering if anyone besides me is about to scream if I have to read one more "am I pregnant" or "could I be pregnant" question? Are these people not capable of going to Wal Mart and buying a 5 dollar test?

  • W VA proposes drug tests for welfare?

Well as far as I'm concerned it's about time!! You have to take a drug test to work at McDonald's, why not require one for tax payer funded welfare? Agree or disagree, and why?

  • Wondering what most of you would do here?

My husband works in a little machine shop, maybe 20 guys. The boss/owner was diagnosed with ALS (lou Gehrig's disease) about 3 years ago. My husband is being offered other jobs but he feels guilty and scared. (tough to change at 44 years old!) Would most of you move on for the security or would you hold out till the last possible minute with this boss, at the job you've had for 13 years? The economy sucks and we've been discussing this back and forth. Looking for other input please!

  • One world currency coming to an America near you?

So I may sound a bit "conspiracy theory" here, but does anybody else think that maybe the government is trying to make the dollar so totally worthless that we won't fight too hard when we get ushered into a World currency? There is already a Euro and there was talk of an

Amero. Think maybe that's just another step closer to world economy?

  • One step forward, 3 steps back?

First, the nation gets to see our new President. Polished, intelligent, articulate..Then we get to see a rapper and a professional "emcee" acting the stereotypical racist thugs during inaugural celebrations...They had a chance to show class and poise but chose the low road.. Why??
