I am coming off of anti-depressants and feel like my little girl hates me. She is only 19 months old, but she acts older, She is SO happy when daddy gets home from work, but not me.

She will not listen to me, only my mom and her daddy. I just cry all the time because I feel awful when I have to yell at her or spank her. And she always seems to hit me and no one else. Otherwise she is a really good girl. It is just me she seems to hate. I do not know how to react to this. I love her so much, and I am getting afraid to even yell at her, because I want her to love me too.

I would appreciate some good advice.

My daughter has Little People, Weebles, all sorts of learning toys, but she won't play with them. What can I buy or give her that will keep her interest?

All she does is walk around and look at everything in the house and tries to touch everything. Once in awhile she will play with her stuffed animals or a doll, but not for more than 5 minutes.

I try playing with her, and again, she play for a few mintues a runs off. The same thing happens when I read books to her. Why doesn't anything, but the Wiggles DVD, hold her attention for more than 5 mintues? We do not want her watching TV that much.

She just seems so bored and crabby, no matter what we try to do.

Who else thinks the Wings are going to just SUCK this season?!

I want to raise my daughter to be a good girl, not spoiled, no tantrums, and I want her to know she is loved, but I do not know how to balance all this and still teach her correctly (with a light tap on the butt or yell at her) and her still know that I truly love her and I am doing this to keep her safe.

I want to raise a child who has good character, does not feel unloved, and knows how to be a wonderful person. Does anyone have any serious tips?

It started with a woman in her twenties who inherited/visited a house and met a set of twins (male/female) who were involved with witches and faeries (Irish or Gaelic) and she fell in love with the male twin. Can anyone help?
