I have started back at school after 15 years off. I know about usajobs.gov but I was wondering if anyone out there had some experience and could give me some suggestions on how to get my foot in the door. I.E. How to go about getting an internship? or How to go about finding entry level jobs. I have no previous military experience or law enforcement. I have been thinking about doing something in FEMA.

Back round noise from a TV show? IE a phone ring in the scene or the rain in a scene? I am a surround sound newbie. The home theater system I have is a panasonic sc-pt660. It has Dolby pro logic II. It has a setting called surround enhancer. When playing 2 channel audio. The audio from the L/R speaker is also put through the rest of the speakers. Should I use this setting or should surround sound work without it? Or once Surround sound is hooked up it should work regardless?

I am very knew to the surround sound world. I just hooked up my 5.1 system last night. Also do you keep the surround sound on for every show? Or ones that are advertised with it?

I tried to change my address with this company for the 2 years I was there and for some reason they never did. Now it got sent to the wrong address. So now someone has all my info (identity theft) or the fact that my taxes could be wrong because I had to use a form to estimate my taxes.

I am looking for an HVAC apprentice position in Ma. I've had a couple of interviews and have been told by places I don't have enough field service time which I don't understand if I am applying for an apprentice position ( of course I have no experience I'm applying for an apprentice job Hello). I go to school for HVAC. I was thinking of printing off a bunch of companies that are within 25 miles of my house and going to drop off my resume and possibly talk with someone in turn. What do you guys think of this approach or does anyone have any other suggestions on how to go about this? Thanks in advance

I never thought of it before until I took a class on it. I heard the starting pay is decent. I wouldnt just want to do oil though I would also like to do cooling too.

In these tough times the have these low interest rates that I would love to capitalize on to refinance my house, but to re fi I need to get it appraised (which I have about 6 months ago) and with the market the way it is the appraisal comes in below the price we bought the house 4. Now how can I capitalize on that. BTW we have made some improvements to add value. I am just bitching but would love to know if people feel the same way or have any ideas. Thanks in advance

I drink Buds and Bud Lites but lately they are starting to make me feel full after just 3 or 4. I don't know if I am getting older and not enjoying Buds anymore. Which I thought would never happen. I don't really like strong larger or ale tasting beers.

Our electric oven broke last night so we are going to need a new one. We would like to switch to gas. Would you say it is an easy or intermediate project. Or should I call a plumber. If I need to call one how much could it run us? I live in Ma.

I am a rookie DIYer. I need to replace some boards on my porch that are caps for my half wall under the porch. It goes caps metal lattice work roof. Do I need jack stands and if I do is it as simple as putting the jacks on a solid surface and jacking them up to the roof so they hold the roof. Sorry if this is confusing but I am a rookie

We have a little porch now with a roof over it, but we are thinking of extending it in to a farmers porch. Any good websites (not DIY though they didnt really have anything that I was looking for) or tips?

The guy I talked with said no cold calling. The telemarking people set up the appointments. I would have to demonstrate it for them. I was told the hours are flexible and it is a weekly pay check.

And please no comments about me selling my soul because I am trying sales. That was one of the few places that were hiring. I got to feed my family too.
