  • Compatibility in zodiac groups.?

I'm a male Pisces. Anyone know if there is one sign that is most suited for a female partner? I find myself really liking females from May. My brother is the same as me and married one of those.

  • Was Yahoo mail server domain changed yesterday for Canada?

My computer stopped getting my Yahoo mail. Investigated whatever I could think of today, and found that domain needed to be .com instead of .ca.

You're supposed to email customers about changes like that.

  • How to reformat DVD-RAM?

I had a bad writing session (not unusual) and lost the ability to write further in the RAM disc, only read. Is there a way to reformat it back to normal DVD-RAM? Windows does not present me a Format option for it.

I know it can be reused with other formats, but I mean RAM.

  • Are high oil prices caused by political control?

It has occurred to me this way. The Leftist environmentalists think carbon dioxide will cause climate catastrophe (wrong), They want burning of fuel to be cut down. There are "powers that be" in the world that have more control than you can imagine. I am suspecting that they are manipulating this financially to keep increasing the price. They say oil prices might need to be $250 or more before consumption really changes. This would involve behind-the-scenes groups like the Bilderberg Group, international bankers and "businessmen", Jewish zionists ... that general crowd. You may have heard such "conspiracy theories". The more true something is, the more they will suppress its discussion.

It's my theory at the moment, and I'm not clear how their financial manipulations would work on this.

This is a matter of pro and con discussion on the causes.

Iraqi oil sabotage has been cut down, we are not suddenly at "peak oil" production, nothing really major has happened to supply and demand.

  • How to capture video on computer from external source?

I have screen video capture software. If I use a TV/monitor with video inputs, can I capture that off the screen? Or does it need to be coming from within the computer?

I don't have such a monitor yet so I want to confirm ahead.

  • Who has had their computer system wiped out from filesharing?

It's true you can get viruses etc, which can wreck your operating system. You need to have a disc to reinstall, reinstall all the programs you ever had, and keep your files in a spot on disc where they are not affected by a system rebuild (not in Documents and Settings). You should have this plan when you start. Sharing things which are not currently available should not be illegal, so you might get a lot out of it. Use a virus checker etc, but something will probably get in every few months.

A suggestion is to keep all your program INSTALLERS in a separate file, so you can reuse them. When reinstalling the OS, install to the Partition previously used. This will erase Documents and Settings, but not other files in other places.

Anyway, what percent of users have had their OS wrecked, and how many have stayed safe, for how long? By the way, Macs are safe.

  • How to digitize photo color slides?

Any equipment to transfer slides to computer? Some photocopiers did but it was imperfect, wasn't light-tight etc. It needs to allow for curved film and focus. I think film also has much more resolution than digital.

  • Does ozone help reduce pollution?

Using Los Angeles smog as an example. It sounds like people don't understand how the ozone in smog is formed. My understanding is that when you have incomplete combustion in engines, you get not only carbon monoxide but also ozone. Instead of CO2, you get CO plus O. O is ozone, one atom of oxygen. In the air, when O meets CO they merge again to form CO2. So O neutralizes carbon monoxide. Is that the way you see it? Do you view ozone as a harmful pollutant?

  • How to assemble image montages.?

Can't find a way to control placement, sizing of multiple images, or any items, on one page. Wordpad has a mind of its own and shifts items to where it wants. I've been a computer user for a year, W2000. Have MGI Photosuite. Don't have Office or Word and don't want them. Controlling multiple pastes is a bugger.

  • Do LCD TVs get dead pixels after a couple years?

I've heard of that. Don't have one. Any other device like remote or phone displays starts to lose some sections after a year or two. That's not acceptable. If true for TVs and monitors, why isn't it mentionned in reviews?

    Who has experienced it?

  • What is "sex slavery" in the Middle East.?

Is this in Israel, or in Arab nations? Is this a case of saying "Middle East" when it means Israel? Is this the matter of groups of men advertising for female consorts, who are provided for, and are free to leave? It's just like western self-righteous reactions to call this "slavery".

  • Are there any good alternatives to the paypal payment system?

I hate working on the paypal site. 5 minute timeouts even if you're working, erased financial records after you download something, can't withdraw less than $10... Wrong kind of people running it now. A lot of idiocies on that site.
