How do I politely tell well meaning friends and relatives to stop touching my belly?
I'm not a dog, there isn't a sign on my stomach that says, "pat me", or "rub me", yet I have a few relatives who seem to think that's what they need to do everytime they see me. It's a pet peeve of mine and I was hoping others have had to deal with this and can give me some good suggestions on how to nicely tell them to stop. I don't want to hurt their feelings because I know they're doing it because they think a pregnant tummy is cute; but it's soo irritating! Thanks. =)

I'm ecstatic that the baby is developing normally and that everything looks fine. In fact it's a relief to know that, but this will be my 3rd boy. I wanted a girl, and I knew it was a 50/50 chance, so I thought I would be okay with having another boy. Sadly the disappointment and upset is more than I thought it would be. Friends and relatives have tried to comfort me by saying that things will change when I see my son, but I'm not so sure that they will. I'm going to give it another month and if I don't feel any different I'm going to seek counseling, but in the mean time, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get over this? I don't want to treat this boy any different than I do my other two, but I'm so afraid that I will.
