  • Original french for Napoleon's quote "No matter where you go, however far away..."?

    I'm trying to find the original french for this quote by Napoleon Bonaparte. I'm going to use it as part of a gift for a friend who is going to study in France for the next year...

    "No matter where you go, however far away, a part of me will be with you and a part of you, with me, will stay. But to see her was to love her, love but her, and love her forever As for me, to love you alone, to make you happy, to do nothing which would contradict your wishes, this is my destiny and the meaning of my life."

  • Name this character!?

    I just saw a picture of a guy from a cartoon, but I can't remember his name or what the show was. He's blond with a purple diamond-ish bit in the front and center. His hair sticks up and goes into a point. He wears a purple shirt. He's got a huge forehead. Any ideas?

  • Destructive/stress relief art project ideas?

    I've been really stressed and I'm looking for a destructive art project to take it out on.

    It should be like filling balloons with paint and and throwing them at a canvas, but I don't have the space available for something like that. I want something I can take my stress out on while still being somewhat productive. Ideas?

  • What's the statutory rape law in Oregon?

    In Oregon, the age of consent is 18.

    So if a person turns 18 does that mean that if they have sex with anyone under 18 it's statutory rape or is there a system of some sort that if the two people are a within a certain age difference it's not statutory rape even if only one of them is over 18? If it is the second option, what is that age difference?

  • when does the actual voting for president start?

    when do the first states start voting(if they haven't already)/ when should results start coming out?

    I'm under 18 and I can't vote, so don't worry about me being an idiot who forgot to vote. I just want to know when this whole thing will get a move on. I heard it ends on Nov. 4, I just wanted to know when votes start being counted.

  • What were the major failures in the life and career of Dorothea Dix?

    I already have some information on the federal land grant she attempted to get that failed three times (1851, 1852, 1854)

    If it is at all possible please give me anything about any *other* failures (I'll take anything, just give me something to go on)

    All of these do react I just need help writing the formulas. You don't have to do all of them any would help. The part I'm having trouble with is making sure the equations are balanced. (KI is k and i not L and Cl is c and L) AgNO3 + KI ---> AgNO3 + NaCl ---> AgNO3 + NaOH ---> AgNO3 + FeCl3 ---> AgNO3 + Na2CO3 ---> Pb(NO3) 2 + KI ---> Pb(NO3) 2 + NaCl ---> Pb(NO3) 2 + NaOH ---> Pb(NO3) 2 + K2SO4 ---> Pb(NO3) 2 + ZnSO4 ---> Pb(NO3) 2 + Na2CO3 ---> Pb(NO3) 2 + CuSO4 ---> BaCl2 + NaCl ---> BaCl2 + K2SO4 ---> BaCl2 + ZnSO4 ---> BaCl2 + Na2CO3 ---> BaCl2+ CuSO4 --->
