When I used to live in San Francisco, my Dad always said I should go to the bar at the Fairmont, as it was the key point in some old movie, perhaps about the war...the heroes, if i remember, made a deal to meet at that bar and toast each other if they made it thru the War. Well, I no longer live in SF, but my son & I are visiting soon & staying at the Fairmont...and I'd like to honor the memory of my Dad by going to the bar & toasting him with a few friends...BUT i simply can't recall what the heck movie that is from....
