Blackfoot or Little Feat song info I have been seeking for a long time?
Back in the late 70's or early 80's either Little Feat or Blackfoot had a song with frogs at the beginning of if. The frogs would croak and a man would say "shut up". This was done for several seconds of the song before the song began.
Does anyone know what the song is or if it was even one of those bands mentioned above.
Thank you for your help.
1 AnswerOther - Music1 decade agoFor experienced aquarium ppl only...is fieldstone safe for a freshwater community tank?
I have a 40 gallon long aquarium and am currently working on a piece of driftwood and know how to make that safe. What I need to know is can I use fieldstone after scrubbing and boiling it or should I just go to the pet store and buy some of their rocks? Please only someone with this knowledge answer.
I have Platy's, Mollies, Swordtails, Cory's, and a few of the Tetra group plus 2 i dont know what they are other than opportunity feeders (if they see it and have the "opportunity" they will eat it as they have been doing with my fry. I also have live plants in my tank. I think the rock I have is limestone but no 100% sure. I am in Kentucky if that helps. Thank you for any help you can be.
7 AnswersFish1 decade agoKY residents only ---we are looking for an aluminum metal glider from years gone by..do you know where one is?
at? We have been looking for several years now with no luck...it can be in need of repairs and/or need painting.
Maybe you have seen one sitting in a barn or someone's yard.
It doesn't need to look like a beauty...just needs to be fixable.
If you know where one is at and the owners are willing to part with it we would love to have it for our front deck.
It can be free or priced reasonable according to its condition.
We are not looking to resell it or anything of that nature. We just want one to go on our front deck as I mentioned above and are not having any luck finding one. I have even left our phone numbers and email address on peoples doors when I see one sitting out in a yard.
Also if you are in southern Ohio or possibly southern Indiana that might work also. We are about 50 miles south of Cincinnati
Pictures emailed to me at ananimalloverinkentucky@yahoo.com
would be helpful in determining a price of the glider
2 AnswersOther - Home & Garden2 decades agonewspapers + mulch to help clay ground..please read?
Our ground is all clay. So far I have gotten about everything to grow even our veggie garden.
This fall I plan on spreading newspapers on the garden about 3-4 layers thick then top with finely ground mulch, straw, grass clippings and whatever compost I have left at the end of the season.
Is it safe to use all newsprint whether it be plain black or with different color ink also...I will not be using the ads that have the slick finish..just the newsprint paper.
If it is not safe to do so I need to know why.
You would have to see our yard to know that I know how to work with clay.
I am just trying to improve the vegetable part of the ground to make it easier to work next year
2 AnswersGarden & Landscape2 decades agohow to get my older dog to use her leg after knee surgery?
late year my 11 yo dog tore the acl's in her knee..it was the end of august she had the surgery. weather turned off cold and bad after her 6 wk restrictions were up so she was unable to rip n run due to muddy outside though we did take her for walk..wouldnt let her lie on ground because of arthritis...over the winter she figured out she could drag her rear with her front legs and still keep moving. when we tell her to use her leg she will walk on it fine but she has gotten so lazy over the winter it drives me crazy at times seeing her drag herself..for 11 yrs old she is still very alert and active but just wont use her leg like she should. she is in no pain now and vet said she is just being lazy which is what i knew all along. i even tried one day wrapping a towel around her to support her to help her use the leg more and after she figured what i was doing she quit using both legs so i stopped that.
just need to know how to make lazy ole granny use that leg more
