His doctor gave us his maintenance medicines namely: Leponex, Rivotril, Akidin, Serenase and Tegretol. I believe those meds will help him calm down and not go into tantrum and/or moody.

Doctor says that we should give these to him everyday in this manner:

After breakfast:

1/2 leponex

1/2 Rivotril

1/4 Serenase

1 Akidin

2 Tegretol

and 1 Eurivit (multi-vitamins)

After lunch:

1/2 leponex

1/2 Rivotril

1/4 Serenase

1 Akidin

My questions are:

1) Are these meds going to be consumed by him forever? His doctor says so. But...

2) What if he becomes moody and doesn't want to take his meds?

3) What if we try to stop giving him these meds just as long as we can observe him that he's doing okay and not going into a moody feeling or going for tantrums?

Me, my wife, this girl friend of ours and another guy, younger than us, are always doing morning runs since we are all runners. We always have a great time running through the streets of our city every morning and we, sometimes, take pictures of the places we pass by.

But, one time, she complained that this guy ignores her for no reason that she may be aware of. I told her, maybe, he didn't see you coming from one end of street since she said there was a time that they were about to bump into each other, she, ready to call his name and the guy saw her then suddenly changed direction.

I told her teasingly that, maybe, that guy has a crush on her or, maybe, he's in love with her but cannot express it because she's married, too.

What could be the reason why this guy totally ignores her nowadays? One time, we had this marathon event and when she kept up with him, he totally ignores her but waves at me and my wife with a smile on his face. Then, he increased his pace and made us "eat his dust".

I recently bought a new hard drive for my laptop, installed it with my Windows 7 OS.

Before, I don't have any problems like this one:

When I open a browser, any browser, Chrome, Opera or Firefox, simultaneously with any media player, be it VLC, Windows Media Player, etc., my laptop suddenly hangs up, then, the dreaded blue screen appears, then, it will restart.

I tried uninstalling and deleting the remaining folders of all browsers and re-installed them again. But, still, the problem is the same.

I appreciate it very much if someone can shed a light on this. Thank you in advance.

I am a runner. I run every morning. Been running for more than 10 years now. I got two of my teeth pulled out by a dentist, of course. She said I can't run for a week. Does anybody here had the same experience? In your own experience, how many days did you start running again after having a tooth or two pulled out?

I had mine pulled out just this weekend, on a Saturday. I was thinking of running on Tuesday.

Any Mac users who can help: From the time I had my Mac Book Pro reformatted, every time I open an app, no window comes out, but when I go to Mission Control, it shows that the app window is already there (open). This is very much true with Safari. Only the tools bar opens but not the whole window. Anybody know the solution to this? Would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks!

It started just a few weeks ago that I have sore throat but without any cough. With just a cup or two of ginger ale, the soreness was gone. But, after that, I have been experiencing this very itchy throat that I sometimes cough when I wake up in the morning and before going to sleep. There's little phlegm on my throat that I expel every time I cough.

I don't feel any weakness or any pain on my lungs. I had pneumonia once and that was years ago. I always run in the morning everyday from one hour to two hours. During that time, I have experienced hard coughing minutes after I begin to run and the more I sweat, the more I cough.

Today, I don't experience that anymore. But, my question is, do I have pneumonia again? Yes, I know I should have myself X-rayed and go to the doctor. But, I just want some few words from you people regarding this matter. Right now, my throat is very itchy. When I cough up, there's no mucus or phlegm.

For days now, I have been using Chrome on incognito mode and everything is fine, so far (I hope). What are the disadvantages of using Chrome on incognito mode in terms of security?

When I burn discs, there are options that I need to choose. It's either 8x, 3x, etc. I always choose 3x. I don't know why but that's what I've been choosing when I burn discs.

In your own point of view, what is the best speed/setting to burn discs?

I have Avast anti-virus software installed on my computer. My friend recommended me to install Microsoft Security Essentials as well. But, he said that I don't need to uninstall Avast if I also have Security Essentials.

I have actually 3 questions:

1.) Do I really need Microsoft Security Essentials?

2.) Is it more reliable than any anti-virus programs out there?

3.) If I install it, do I have to uninstall my current anti-virus software? My friend said it's okay to have both since he didn't encounter any conflicts. On the other hand, Microsoft encourages to uninstall if you want to install Security Essentials.

The last time I've burned a disc was the other day. After that, I haven't used my DVD Drive and just this morning, when I wanted to listen to an original CD, it didn't play anymore.

I have a memory card (2GB) that I use on my digital camera. I haven't used it, actually, for a long time. Just a few minutes ago, I inserted it into my laptop to check the pictures. I was surprised that a message appeared saying something like: "Your removable device is not formatted. Would you like to format it?"

Of course, I don't want to format it because there's nothing wrong with it. And, besides, I haven't used it on any other laptop or desktop computers. So, I click "Cancel". I clicked on "My Computer", but, the memory card didn't appear. I can't even remove it safely since it doesn't appear.

So, I ejected it manually, inserted it again. But, nothing happened. I restarted my laptop, then, inserted it again and it appeared. So, I check the pictures, deleted some, then, safely removed it.

I tried to insert it again but it didn't appear again. I repeated the process of restarting the laptop, inserted again the memory card and there it was again! I reformatted the memory card, safely removed it, inserted it again, But, again, it wasn't there.

I restarted and repeat the whole process and it was there, removed it safely, inserted it back and it didn't appear again. I clean my registry using CCleaner, repeated the whole process and, well, you guess what happened next.

What seems would be the problem? I can still use my laptop right as you can see, checked for viruses but there were none.

I have in my collection Streets of Fire, Rock Star, Jesus Christ Superstar, School of Rock, Flight 666, Documentaries about all sub-genres of metal, Trick or Treat, Crossroads, etc.

No matter what type of browser I'm going to use, my laptop freezes. One time, I tried using my laptop just by typing a lot of articles on MS-Word and never used any browser, I don't have this problem. But, when I use any browser (Opera, Chrome or Firefox... I can't use IE because it has no Page Rank add-on) and especially I log on to Facebook, it freezes. Please help.

Is it because I use Windows 7 on an old laptop? what I'm using now is MSI VR-300 with 2 GB Ram and, I think, 520 Gb hard drive. Will it help if I change back to Windows XP? Anti-virus installed and updated, always run registry cleaner like CCleaner and do defragmenter once every 2 months.

I have installed Avast! Anti-Virus, PC Performer to check Registry and repair if there are any errors.

I always run PC Performer everyday and also Defragmenter. I also check updates for the BIOS of MSI and they are all updated.

Why is it that there are days I have to do "hard reset" on my laptop? Then, there are days that it won't happen. It always happens whenever I open up any browser, IE, Firefox. Chrome and even Opera especially when I log in to Facebook and/or YouTube.

Right now, I did "hard reset" again but this time, my Facebook is closed and I don't have YouTube running. The extensions of all my browsers (except for IE) is only PageRank, Avast Online Security and AdBlock, nothing more. What seems to be the problem? Remember, there are days that I will do "hard reset" and there are days that I haven't experienced it.

Ten years ago, I used to be 220 lbs. and my BP was 150/100. It rose to 200/140 one time and I suffered a "mild mild stroke". I decided to adapt a healthy lifestyle at that time and so I did. I lost 78 lbs. in just one year in 2003 and have maintained a health weight and normal BP of 120/80.

Two years ago, my doctor made me stop taking my maintenance drugs because of that. For almost a decade, a run a minimum of 10 kilometers per day. I eat more fruits, vegetables and fish and I quit smoking and drinking since 2003. My waistline is from 42 inches to 32 inches and I have been holding on to that measurement.

Until a week ago, I had that strange feeling of numbness on my nape and I felt a little bit dizzy. My wife checked out my BP and it rose to 160/90! I said, What the heck! At that time until now, the temperate here in our place was between 33 to 35 degrees Celsius. Was my hypertension due to the heat? I drink 2 to 3 liters of water everyday, by the way.

However, after that incident, my BP went back to a normal range between 110/70 to 120/80. I also want to make a note that during weekends are my "Rewards Days". I eat foods that I do not normally eat during weekdays like a little of processed foods, drink a little of soda, etc. I don't drink and smoke anymore.

What happened two weeks ago? Was it because of the heat? or Was I running too much already? Was it because of my "Rewards Days"? Have I eaten too much of those salty and/or processed foods during weekends?
