I'm looking for a nice manual (old) typewriter, and I've been looking at these brands- Corona of course, Remington and Olivetta Lettera. I've also seen some Royal and I'm wondering, what do I need to know, and what makes a better typewriter? I suppose it does come to personal preference, but I'm a little in the dark here. Any sites would be greatly appreciated.

I've never had an ear infection so I'm kinda scared :-/ I'm just getting over a cold (the coughing part has kind of died down now) and about 10 mins ago i felt as though my ear is clogged...i can hear out of it but not as well as my left ear. The ear itself has turned red. What can I do for the moment besides going to the doctor? (I will but just not today) Please help!

I asked this in the mental health section, but I havn't gotten any answers and I'm getting kinda desperate!

So i thought I would ask here too, as it is also a family issue, causing fights arguments and tears.

So here's the deal.

My mom for the past year or so, seems to have formed some kind of problem. I mean we all have problems, but it's getting worse and more consistent. So my mom has this kind of "idea" that people are out to get her- in a way. It's really difficult to explain. For example, one of the more recent ones, she told off (in a way) one of the people who call to sell stuff, since they call all the time or watever. then she told me that her computer is getting all f***ed up and that it's not working, and now she is quite convinced that these people that sell by phone, have something to do with it, as if they have hacked into it or something, causing her alarm/calander thing not to notify her of something I had to do after skl....things like that.

She connects this things, as if the whole world is trying to make her life miserable. The example I gave wasn't very good, if i can remember some better ones I'll put them up. My father has talked to her a million times, trying to help her understand that she needs to think more positively etc. A few months ago I was so angry at what she was saying, I called her paranoid and she threw a fit, and of course was really angry with me.

One weeknight, my parents and I went to a party, and they got a little tipsy, so we had a driver take us home. My mom was about to try me to school the next day, but she decided not to since she was so hungover AND then she saw a police car outside (which wasn't even really on our street) and she was so convinced that it was as if someone had called them to "keep and eye" because the police is never, ever around our street and etc.

We really don't know what to do, and I really want to help her because it's really getting quite bad. So please any advice!

Anyone know what this might be called? I mean if it has a specific name? Is it paranoia? Thank you.

forgot another possibly important detail...

she has become more and more anti-social over the years, and I think this might be partially the reason. Might I add that she's always been pretty negative...but not to this point...

She also will sometimes stop talking about it thinking that they could be listening in on our conversation

We don't really want to preorder it online (my mom would prefer to just pay at the store vs. using her credit card online) we've never pre-ordered games! So can we go to best buy and preorder it there? Or is it a must to puy online/have it delivered/ pick it up?

So I was using my iphone the past week (brother brought it back to me I havn't had it in almost a year) and it never once asked me for a passcode, but I remember I used to have one but I'm pretty sure I deleted it. I downloaded the update or w.e when I connected it to my computer, and now it's asking me for a passcode, and now I have no idea what to do! I don't want to restore it because I have photos in it (that are very precious to me!) What can I do, i've already tried 0000 and 1111 lol....kinda freaking out here so plz help!

I will be travelling in 3 nights, from LA to London, and I know that the way back to LA (from London) is harder, but I was wondering how can I make it easier for my body to adjust? Should I wake up earlier, go to bed later?

The time difference is 8 hours, ahead of LA time.

So i had some blood taken out of me on Tuesday (4 tubes! but some were small) nevertheless, I've noticed that my left arm (where the blood was taken from) has worse circulation that my right. i even asked my mom to check by hold both my hands, and the left one was colder then the right. We're going to tell the doctor this, but I just wanted to know, is this normal?

I have medium-long length, thick and wavy hair. I like how it is wavy, but some days i feel as if its a bit too frizzy compared to other people's hair (hehe) and it just feels "big".

I have layered hair.

I let my hair dry naturally.

I sometimes put it up in a towel.

If i use any "styling" products it a curl enhancing cream, haven't used it in a while so i know that this is my hair being annoying, not caused by the product.

I just want it to be silky, and really easy to run my fingers through kinda thing, just manageable!!

I will be travelling from LA to London in a matter of weeks. I hate the way I look and feel after i get off a very long flight. I don't want to take any extra things on the plane that i have to check in (too much hassle) i don't drink coffee or any alcohol. What can I do on the plane to keep myself looking fresh when I arrive?

I'm debating more with the illuminating TM or the oil free TM.

My skin is combo (but only *slightly* oily, and dry skin on the temples/cheeks) and i get blemishes every now and again. Anyone here tried any of these, please let me know what you think! Thanks in advance.

My lips are pretty rosy, and I want to get a couple of lipglasses from MAC or some new slimeshines. Which shades would you recommend for me?

If I choose something too light it'll just look like clear lipgloss on my lips, but i don't want red lipstick or lipgloss. Catch my drift?

I have dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and slightly tanned skin.

When you're at the make up counter- and the SA puts something on you, and you really don't want to buy it, or you want to simply say no etc, what do you say to them? I always feel awkward, or bad because they spent sometime out for me to put on something, which is their job, but I feel bad! lol I'm not that kind of person who can come out with the right words. So what do you say?

I love mac to death, and im in a need for a moisturizer. the thing is, they have alot and i find it confusing which one is right for me, and which one to research on (i.e research ingredients and reviews)

i have combo skin, slightly prone to breakouts.

My parents like to splurge. I feel very very guilty whenever we spend money (more than $300) on anything. not relli a nice meal but other things... my parents say enjoy it, dont feel guilty ect ect. but i cant help it. maybe i dont feel like i deserve some of the stuff i get? i dont know wat to do. i dont like to be called spoiled, especially wen i feel bad wen someone gets me something! i rarely ask for things too. Yet when i want something in particular its like everything turns around...if u get wat i mean.

here's an example, today i bought something from sephora with my mom and i regret buying it. regarless of the reviews i read on it, it relli dont like it. so i checked sephora's policy on returns and everything will be fine. after i told my mom she said ok during the week we'll return it...yet i feel so guilty because we made a trip specifically for that one thing...ah! my stomach feels guilty.

i dont know how to get rid of the guilty feelings! plz help.

I know that plum, dark blues, dark greens, yellows, golds ect go great with dark brown eyes, but i thought of trying something new....i hav relativley dark brown hair, and dark brown eyes.
